Blood Magic

Stiles POV

After we had successfully performed the spell me and Bonnie went out for some food to replenish ourselves. I had been a little concerned as to why I got so tired quickly. I mean there were two of us perfoming the spell and you would think that me being part werewolf  and part spark would contribute to the stamina a little but I digress. "You're a little deep in thought Stiles. Whatever could be going on that crazy head of yours?" Bonnie started. "Honestly Bonnie I was just wondering why I got tired so fast I mean were two very powerful witches...sort of." "Well Stiles you just have to remember that you've just recently have been tapping into your magic. Different spells take more out of you even with expression." " I guess that makes sense." 

1 hour later

We were walking back to the house when all of a sudden Bonnie turned around. "Wanna see something cool?" she asked. "When have I ever not wanted to see something cool"  "Fair enough...this is a little spell I picked up while reading through my grandmothers grimoire" She closed her eyes and began chanting. I was waiting for something to happen when something caught my ear. "Did you hear that?" I asked. "Umm was I supposed to?" I ignored her words and tried to focus my hearing in on the sound. It was like a rustle/ running noise. The only thing was the footsteps were extremely fast. Faster than any werewolf I had ever heard. All of a sudden the footsteps slowed  to a walking pace. "STILES!!" I whipped my head around and what I saw frightened me. Standing there at the edge of the clearing we were in was a man. He had blood all over his face and  clothes. He smelled like a wolf so it wasn't a stretch to assume he was a hybrid but there was something off about him. I watched as his eyes filled with what seemed to be blood and his lips snarl back. Before I could register it he had lunged at Bonnie. I kicked him off of her using my telekinesis to enhance my strength. Bonnie got up quickly with an angry look in her eyes. "Is that a hybrid?" I asked. "It is and it isn't. In order to fully transform into a hybrid you need to consume the blood of the last living doppelganger, which just so happens to be Elena Gilbert. This thing is nothing more than an effective half breed" The man had gotten tired of our conversation apparently because he lunged right at me. It took all of my strength and then some to hold him back. That's when I had an idea. If i had to get in touch with the earth in order to use my elemental magic then if I focused I should be able to tap into blood magic. I listened to his heart beat and pushed deeper into his chest. I closed my eyes trying to completely focus when suddenly it was working. I couldn't see what I was doing but I could feel his heart slowing down and hear his veins drying up. Blood magic felt different instead of feeling myself being drained it felt as though I was absorbing more power. The feeling was like sipping an ice cold glass of water after a long day outside, refreshing. 

Once he had gone completely limp I pushed him off of me. To my surprise Bonnie wasn't there. "BONNIEEE!!!!" I called out. Around 10 seconds later she came into view with Caroline, Scott, Derek and Tyler. They all were looking at me weirdly as if I had just commited a murder. I turned around to look at the man that had attacked me and was utterly terrified with what I saw. Not only did he have a giant hole in his chest but his body was gray with his veins being bolded. 'Freaky' I thought. I turned around to face everyone to find them all still in shock, especially Scott and Derek. "I did it!!" I screamed "Did what exactly?" asked Scott. "I used blood magic to do whatever I just did to this guy." "Desiccation" Caroline called. "Stiles...you didn't use blood magic." Bonnie said with a serious look on her face. "Really then explain why this guy looks like charcoal after a fire." "Okay when we get to the house I will, but for now this guy isn't dead at least not yet. Motis!!" Suddenly the guys hearted shot out of his chest and into Bonnie's hand." Everyone looked at her with disgust but she merely dropped the heart and started heading back. Everyone started following her including me. "You okay?" Derek asked. "Yeah Der, never better". He gave me a quick peck on the lips and then walked forward. Suddenly Scott was by my side. "Duuude that was so freaky what did you do to that guy?" "Honestly Scott I was 100% sure it was blood magic but idek anymore Bonnie seems pretty sure it wasn't." "Well if I were you I'd just not get on her bad side. I mean did you see what she did to that guys heart it was badass." "Scott I think we will all remember that moment before ever daring to mess with Bonnie Bennett."
