Would he really come back? It was nearly morning now, and there was still no sign of him. Kirishima couldn't help but feel anxious. If he didn't come back, then she didn't know where to go from there; she didn't have a home to go back to, and there was no one left waiting for her.
However, she couldn't blame him for ditching her; he had no reason to come back. Kirishima knew that she had caused him a lot of trouble already, and they hadn't even been together that long. She wanted to believe in him, in this stranger who had intrigued her.
What she truly wanted was a purpose, something to fight for, or someone. She wanted a reason to do more than just exist, and she wanted that to be him. She didn't even know his name, but she was placing so much hope and trust in this wild and seemingly unfriendly human male.
"Come back soon."

...
Maybe she should catch another deer for when he does return? He seemed to like those, though why he burned everything was beyond her.
