One week after Alya and Chloe find out where Marinette is and promise not to tell anyone else. Marinette looks rather upset as she speaks to Max.
"Max, I can not believe it has been a week since I first found myself trapped inside the machine," Marinette says.
"Marinette I am so sorry," Max says.
"Sorry, for what?" Marinette says with sarcasm in her voice.
"My formula was wrong the first time." Max answers.
Elsewhere with Adrien...
"Chloe, how can Marinette just be gone for a week?" Adrien asks. He sighs.
"Well, what do you expect me to do about it?" Chloe snaps at him.
"I do not understand why the police can not find her. " Adrien says angrily.
"Marinette is my best friend and I do not know what I would do if I lost her," Adrien says sadly.
"Does this mean you love her?" Chloe teases him.
"I honestly do not know," Adrien says. He frowns,
"I can not imagine my life without her in it," Adrien says and sighs afterward.
"Well, brother it sounds like you are in love with Marinette," Chloe says.
"Marinette does not love me though, so how can I possibly love her?" Adrien asks.
"Well, you do not know if she loves you or not," Chloe says.
Chloe's POV:
Adrien loves Marinette as more than a best friend. He just can handle the truth because he worries about her safety. He would be furious if he knew I saw her at Max's place the other day. However, I can not tell him because I did my word not too. Besides, he would freak out even more if he knew she was stuck in some space game.
"I think it is sweet you love her," Chloe says.
Adrien's POV:
Is Chloe right, do I love Marinette? He shakes his head in denial. He does not love his best friend. The notion is ridiculous as it is impossible. The only reason he worries about her is that he has not seen her in a week.
Back to Marinette and her cousin Max...
"Max you better get me out of here, got it!" Marinette says angrily. She can not stand the environment in this space game for much longer.
"I am trying to find out how you got trapped inside the computer game in the first place," Max says.
Adrien decides the excuses he is given about Marinette are not good enough. He goes to see Max for answers.
Ding...dong....ding....dong...Max's doorbell rings loud and clear.
Max answers the door and says, "Adrien what brings you here?"
"I refuse to believe that Marinette is not hurt," Adrien says angrily.
"Tell where she is now, Max!" Adrien demands.
"Adrien, is that you?" Marinette says sweetly within the computer.
"Was that her?" Adrien asks.
"I told you I have not seen her, because no one has in over a week. " Max lies.
Adrien barges past Max into his place. He looks around for Marinette and frowns when he does not find her.
"I know I heard her voice," Adrien says.
"Adrien I am sorry I can not call or text you," Marinette says.
"Marinette, where are you?" Adrien asks. He looks around in confusion.
"Adrien, I am right here," Marinette speaks lounder.
Adrien steps closer to the computer.
"Oh, my goodness! How did you get in there? Marinette! Marinette?" Adrien panics.
"Adrien, I am not sure. What is wrong?" Marinette says. She sees tears form in his eyes.
"M-Marinette I can not believe it. You are inside a computer, for crying out loud."Adrien says.
"Please do not die on me," Adrien says sadly. He puts a hand on the screen and sobs.
"I can not promise anything when I am sure I can even beat this level yet," Marinette says.
A smoky fog like midst appears which frightens Marinette, and she screams, "Ah, Adrien help me! Adrien, I am so afraid. Adrien, Adrien...
Marinette passes out as the fog which surrounds her thickens. Adrien witnesses it and is furious with Max.
"Max, you have to get her out of there," Adrien says.
"Somehow she is on Level 2 the fog sequence, but she passed out," Adrien says.
"Look, dude, you need to chill," Max says.
"Can you not see I am doing the best I can to get her out of there?" Max says angrily.
"Max if she does not make it I hold you responsible, " Adrien says angrily. He glares at him.
"Also, I will tell everyone you murdered my best friend, got it?" Adrien yells at him.
