Last Chapter I talked about my first Pokémon core game, that being Pokémon Blue, so I will talk about my first spin off game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness.
This was my first DS game along with another game (a dog game). I got it from GameStop just around the time I got my first DS Lite in 2008 (it was Pink and sadly for some reason doesn't work anymore). I remember my first time playing it my Pokémon were a Treecko and a Pikachu. I didn't get far in it though, since I struggled on the third boss Pokémon, that being a Groudon. I struggled so badly that one day I just erased my file and decided that I play it on a new file and hopefully, more seriously. This file I still have to this day, and the Pokémon I have are a Charmander and a Chikorita. My brother helped me with Groudon battle and all was good. When I got more experienced with Pokémon games, I started playing Mystery Dungeon more skillfully. I still play to this day, Charmander is level 87 while Chikorita is level 100 the highest Pokémon in the game. I still enjoy playing it now that it is better than ever before!!
Since playing Explorers of Darkness, I was inspired to play Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, a game I got a few Christmas' ago.
Back in 2009, I started to play Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness (the game my brother used to play) I got a lot farther than my brother did and that is where I learned most of my basic battle mechanics. I haven't played it since because my own GameCube doesn't have it's own TV. 🙇🙇
