Thank god halloween was NOT on a school night this year. I come home from shopping and see Chase in the kitchen "hi sweetie, how was shopping?" " it was great, mom" he smiles. I ran to my room and looked at the time "6...the party starts at 9" I grabbed my costume and put it on, I went over to my bathroom and looked in the mirror "not bad". I go into Instagram to take a picture but I see that Payton is the Joker "oh my god...this is gonna be awkward" I took my picture and posted it. I walk downstairs and see Chase talking to Faith "hey Faith!" She looks at me and walks over to me "you're Harley Quinn? You know Payton is the Joke- wait did you plan this?" "I didn't know he was gonna be Joker" she smiles and whispers in my ear "kiss your puddin' tonight for me, ok?" I playfully smacked her arm "Faith!" I said quietly, she chuckles "come on, let's go". We get out of the car and go into Josh's house "welcome lady's" Josh said smiling. The music was blasting and so many people were here "Y/n, look who's staring" she points and I see Payton looking at me, as soon as I looked at him, he looks away and starts talking to a group of friends, making me smile. Faith pulls me to were a lot of people were dancing "come on!" The song "one wish" by Ray J starts playing. Faith looks at me "fine, I'll go by myself" I went to grab a bottle of water and see Payton coming towards me "hey Y/n" "hey Payton, what's up?" He lightly smiles "do you want to dance with me?" "Sure" he holds my hand and we walk onto the dance floor "to spice thing up. The next two songs are slow songs so fellas, now is the time to grab your girl" "thinking out loud" started to play and I see Josh winking at Payton, Payton looks at me "still want to?" I smiled and nodded. He put his hands on my waist and I put my arms around his neck, he smiles "did you plan thi-" I looked down and shook my head no "that's what you sister said too and no i didnt" he lifts my chin up with two fingers "y/n? Can I tell you something?" "Yeah, you know you can tell me anything" he sighs.

I got off the dance floor and went over to where Y/n was to get a drink, instead of y/n being there it was Jacob and Chase "where's y/n?" Chase points to the dance floor. I see her and my brother talking and dancing "oh- aww" I went a little closer and got a picture of them together, Chase comes next to me "what are you doing?" "Taking pictures of them, they both will thank me later" I look away and Chase repeatedly hits my shoulder "look!" I look back over, gasped and took a couple more pictures

Payton looks into my eyes "I-i love you, I've had feelings for you since 2nd grade... you're my bestfriend but I just feel more...i'm sorry if you-" I looked at him and just smiled "please dont be mad at me for this.." "wha-" I kissed him, i felt his lips go into a smirk and he pulled me in closer. He pulls away and I felt my face burn up "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that I'm so-" he looks at me "come with me" he grabs my hand, pulls us through the crowd of people and we go outside "let's go to the roof". We got on the roof and sat down "I dont think Josh would be very happy if he-" Payton put his hand on mine "trust me, he doesn't care" Payton lifts my chin up and smiles " y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" I'm dreaming...I have to be, the- WHAT?! "Yes..." he smiles "let's go back before everyone thinks we left". We go back inside and I see Faith coming towards us "y/n,I-can- I have to talk to you...sorry Payton I'll give her right back I swear" she pulls me away "Are you- my brother... a thing now!?!?" She said with a happy tone "now...?" she looks at me "I may or may not have taken a couple of pictures of you guys...kissing?" "Send me them" she laughs "I knew you would say that". The party was over, me and Faith were about to leave until I felt someone grab my wrist "wait!" I turn around to see Payton, I smiled "yes Mr.Jay?" He rolls his eyes "can I kiss you goodbye??" "Maybe.." he shakes his head and kisses me. He puts his chin on my shoulder, hugs me and I hugged him back "goodbye" I let go but he doesn't "tricked you, you're not leaving" he picks me up, holding my thighs "Payton, I have to go!" He puts me down "fine, go find batman" I rolled my eyes "will do...puddin' " kissed his cheek and left. Me and Faith pull in my driveway and got out "hug me goodbye!" I go over and hugged her "you're finally with him".
