I was in the middle of my 7th period class of the day (which was math). We were taking a test and Payton sat next to me, I see him looking at my test "Payton! Stop!" I said whispering "I just want to check number 18..." he looked up at me " you know I'm joking with you, right?" I nodded "yes, now shh!". The class ended and I had Payton in my 8 period class as well so we always walked together. We walked into our english class and I shivered "holy its fucking cold in here!" I whispered, not wanting the teacher to hear me. Payton looks at me "want my hoodie?" I started blushing "sure" he takes off his sweatshirt and gives it to me, I put it on and Payton smiled. "You-" he was interrupted by the bell "nevermind I guess". Everyone was done with the assignment and now everyone had time to work on other assignments for other classes, if you didnt have any other assignments you can talk but you had to be quit for the kids that were working. I go over to Payton and sit down at the empty desk next to him "yo Y/n!" I turn around and waved at Jackson, Jackson and Avani sat behind Payton. I put my hands in the sleeves of the hoodie "why is this hoodie so warm?" Jackson looks at Payton "is Y/n wearing your sweatshirt?" Payton nodded "she was cold" Jackson looks at me "you know, my sweatshirt is alot warmer..." Jackson always jokingly flirts but lately it seems like he's actually flirting with me. "I'm keeping this one on, it's so warm.." Avani smiles "you sure that the only reason you dont want to take it off?" I turned red "Avani!". Me and Avani are best friends, she knows about my crush on Payton and right now she was DEFINITELY not helping. It was the end of the day and I went straight to my locker, grabbed my stuff, locked my locker and went to Avani's locker. "Why did you say that?" She throws her backpack on, locks her locker and looks at me, smiling "what do you mea-" "in english? About Payton's sweatshirt?" "Oohh, come on Y/n! Its obvious he likes you back". We started walking towards the doors everyone meets up at "he always gives me his sweatshirt when I'm cold, even in middle sch-". Avani interrupts me and we walk up to the group "go give your boyfriend his hoodie back" I smacked her arm and i see Payton walking up to us. "Y/n? Can we talk-" he looks at Avani "alone?" I nodded and he grabs my hand and takes us away from the group. "I can't hide from you Y/n...." he pushes his hair back, even though it fell right back to his face "I-I like you..." a light smile came on my face "are-are you jo-". He grabs my hands...ok he's not joking "no, I'm not. You're beautiful, inside and out. Seeing your happy self makes me smile, when your upset...I hate it. You deserve to be happy and I know everyone has bad days but-" I interrupted him. "Payton..." he looked at the floor "im sorry, I know you probably don't have feelings for me and I'm gonna be honest...everytime Jackson flirts with you, it hurts because I know I could never-". I shook my head "Payton, I dont like it when Jackson flirts with me either. Normally he flirts as a joke but...I dont think it's a joke anymore and you need to stop talking bad about yourself because it hurts me that you see yourself that way. Only if you saw yourself through my eyes-" just tell him...."I like you too Payton". He smiles softly and puts a book up to hide the sides of our faces. He looked at me and with his other hand he puts it on my cheek, I know what he wanted but he was taking too long. I moved closer and kissed him. He puts the book down and we see that everyone was outside "before we go...Y/n will you go out with me?" I smiled "yes". We went outside, Payton went to the boys and Jackson comes up to me. "I have to tell you something..." i had a feeling I knew what he was gonna say but i wanted to hear him put. "And that is-?" He smiles "your really beautiful baby" i know what he was doing "Thanks?". He moves closer to me "I was wondering if-" I felt arms hugging me from behind "sorry Jackson, shes mine" Jackson looks at Payton "yeah right, I know you like her Payton but she likes me...its obvious". Payton kisses my cheek,making me smile and put my hand on his cheek. Payton looks at Jackson "you sure?" Jackson shrugged "I mean I thought anyway.." I rolled my eyes. Everyone left except me,Payton and Avani "so...are you two dating? I saw Payton kissing your cheek" Payton grabs my hand "did I?" Avani smiles "Classic Payton" I smiled "yes". Avani looks at Payton "does this mean she gets to keep your hoodie?" He looks at me "do you want this one?" "Maybe..." he smiles "keep it". Payton drove me home "thanks for the ride" "no problem" I open the car door and got out "I love you Payton" he smiles "I love you too". I went into my house and see Jacob "my sister is dating my bestfriend? What?" I laughed "How did-" he looks at me "I saw him kissing your cheek" I looked at him "surprise?".
