There's a feeling called regret. It's like a mosquito, keeps disturbing you by reminding the things which you want to forget completely. It bites you if you don't kill it in the first place and then you'll become sick and forget your senses. But for Raghu, it has bitten hard and as a result, he's getting extremely angry seeing the car advertisement –his creation which is now doing great in the market making him guilty. He feels like he's betrayed at the end. The company is earning hundreds of crores but he just got stupid twenty lakhs. Which is not even the one percent of share.
Raghu got a friend in the company and he told all these details that an American company is going to buy the model and launching it in their name all over the world. Knowing that Raghu becomes restless and doesn't know what to do.
Sathya encouraged him to continue his work instead of regretting it. But for Raghu, this is something big. He thought himself as a loser for doing such a thing.
You have made the wrong decision!
You should've not heard your wife's thoughts!
Now you lost everything! Everything!
These thoughts kept repeating in his head. He doesn't know what to do. It's been four months since he came back from Mumbai. He started to work on another design but he couldn't do anything after finding out the result of his hard effort.
The company just threw him out like a piece of trash and didn't reply to the mail after that. In the contract, there's another one rule that Raghu can't cancel the contract later the product is released so he just stuck in his room having no other way. He couldn't be happy, he couldn't sleep properly and he's not the same Raghu who used to be.
Yesterday he went to the extreme lost all his senses too. Last night he turned all his anger, regret, and frustration on Sathya for coming late to home. The fight was something that totally shown how much he's resenting inside for his loss.
Sathya was stunned to hear that from Raghu and she cried for the entire night repeating his accusation. "What the hell you're plugging there? Do you think I am your servant like you can come at any time and I'll pick you?" He told this on the bus stop and everyone who was standing there looked at them weirdly. Sathya doesn't care about others but she felt bad to hear that.
A lot of times she arrived home late but those times Raghu never said this kind of words. She didn't talk back and continued to be normal. She can understand what he's going through inside and she endured it thinking that she's one of the reasons for everything that happened. If she didn't give that thought, then Raghu might have decided something else.
"Hey, Sathya, take these sweets," one of her colleagues handed a box full of sweets when Sathya was in her thoughts. She's senior compared to Sathya and she's working here for a long time, in fact the only female employee until Sathya joined in here.
"Thanks but for what?" she asked.
"Actually, I am starting a new restaurant next week and this is the invitation,"
"Oh congratulations," Sathya halfheartedly smiled.
"Thanks. Actually this is all because of my husband, he gave his saving for me to start this hotel," she replied. Hearing that Sathya face turned sore.
"You're really lucky," Sathya faked a smile.
After this, she can't help but feel useless. She once considered that Raghu will help her but now, he's busy with his own worries and work.
No one will help you, Sathya because you didn't get that fortune. You are going to die thriving hard for the rest of your life, Sathya chuckled hearing her mind's comment.
She came out of the hotel, the rain is pouring outside. Thankfully the bus has arrived earlier.
Raghu got a call from Sathya when he was about to start his work. He got irritated and didn't attend the call. Sathya, again and again, called him but Raghu has turned the phone in a silent mode. This made Sathya realize that he's still angry so she decided to walk her way to the home. Due to rain, the roads are high traffic and Sathya lost all her energy when she went home. She is totally drenched, tired and not feeling her best.
As she enters the bedroom, Raghu was working on his laptop. She went near to gritting her teeth and pulled the earplugs from his ears.
"Why you didn't attend my call?" "I called you five times and you purposely didn't attend the call, right?" she interrogated pointing her fingers at him.
"Yes, I told yesterday. It's not my duty to escort you everywhere. Don't you have two legs?" he asked and she rolled her eyes in anger.
"Yeah I am having two legs and I don't want you to escort me. I am just asking why you didn't attend my call?" "I might call you for some other reasons too," she argued.
"You don't because you have nothing with me except using me as your servant," He glared and he raised his voice too.
"I am using you? How could you say this? In what way I used you, can you explain it?" she asked knotting her eyebrows.
Raghu clenched his jaw, "I was spending my money for you and your mom. And even this job, you pestered me to find it," he said.
Sathya totally lost her patience when he pulled out her mom in this argument. "You didn't spend a single penny for my mother. I am working and that's all my money. And here you're losing your respect by belittling the things that you did for me."
"Oh, who asked you to respect me. Go and do whatever the shit you want," he said.
"You're talking too much," Sathya warned.
"I'll talk. Because of you I lost everything and you are the reason for all that happened," he said and stood intimidating her.
"Have you lost your mind? Why you're blaming me?"
"Yes, you're always in my head and leading me in all the wrong directions. I would have lived simply by continuing my work. You pushed me into this and look, I have lost everything," he told. For him whatever that he's speaking is right and for Sathya, he's talking foolishly.
"You're an idiot, a fool," she poured her anger out and the next moment, a hard slap fell on her cheeks. Her eyes welled in tears instantly by the stinging pain.
"Don't you dare call me like that!" he yelled and Sathya shuddered in panic. He pushed her aside and walked out of the house taking his bike keys in the hall. He didn't get the phone and his face was full of anger.
Sathya stumbled on the bed nearby and starts to shed the tears, she didn't expect this from Raghu.
How could he do this to me? she gritted and her fingers touched the corner of her lips. The blood is oozing from that small wound on her upper lips.
Sathya's mom who's hearing everything from the next room came inside. Seeing her daughter's state that poor lady cried.
"Amma," Sathya wailed and cried in her mom's shoulder.
"Don't cry, Sathya," her mom patted her back.
"Am..ma," she couldn't stop crying.
No one ever slapped Sathya, even her parents never beaten her but Raghu? There Sathya lost her hope that he will make her happy and she can't help but fear him.
"Sathya, why you're arguing with him?" her mom's statement surprised her.
"Mom, he's accusing me," "I never know something like this will happen! I always prayed for him to win in everything he does but he just dumped like it's all nothing," she pointed.
"But still, you should have kept silent, Sathya since he's angry," her mom advised, like all the mother she wants her daughter to bear his anger. Sathya didn't reply anything as she's not interested in doing what her mom says because he's talking like a fool, if she accepts his accusation then he will keep daunting her. She has already experienced this kind of attitude from lots of people. But it hurts to know that her husband is also doing the same to her.
There's no one's fault in here, they are just unfortunate to end up in this situation! She knows that but she doesn't know why he's blind to realize it.
