it was a few days later now and jack had grown to like having zach around, his friends did as well.

he got up out of bed and slid on his cuffed jeans a short sleeve button up with colored stripes, and his black hightop converse. he ruffled his hair a bit before jogging downstairs to give his mom a quick kiss on the cheek and a hug for his baby sister...his dad had already left and jonah was out front. jack was running late today as you can tell.

he grabbed his books and ran outside to get in the back of the baby blue convertible.

"are you okay?" corbyn asked leaning over the seat as jonah headed to the school

"i woke up late and rushed" jacks breathing was heavy

"jesus jack breathe" daniel patted his back as jack hunched over

"i'm not letting you die in my car avery...so fix yourself" jonah eyed him from mirror as he picked up his speed

corbyn had a paperbag sitting in his lap that had a pretty little heart drew on it. jack noticed it when he sat jack up so he decided to ask about it.

"corbs what's up with the bag?" jack asked as he pointed towards it

"oh hehe, i got christina a bag of her favorite hard candies and a little lilac for our anniversary..." corbyn blushed at the thought

"that's cute...i'm sure she'll love it" jack awed

"oh jo i'm coming in today...so i'll be on the clock with you" daniel poked him and he nodded before pulling into the parking lot.

they all got out corbyn jogging over to his beautiful brunette girlfriend giving her the gift. she hugged him tight and gave him a kiss on the cheek before they walked into the school. daniel and jonah walked in as they talked about something as well.

"hey avery" zach came up behind the chocolate eyed boy and tickled up.

"hey herron...how'd you sleep" he asked as they walked into school

"i slept pretty good how about you" he glanced to him and jack nodded

"well i overslept and almost made us late" jack chuckled and zach rolled his eyes "of course you did"

they continued the conversation inside before they split up to go their lockers.

"so how's that zachary?" tatum asked as she stood next to his locker followed by the others

"he's nice...you should talk to him" jack replied as he grabbed his books and placed the others in the metal locker

"i'll think about...he's pretty cute" she replied before smirking once jonah rolled his eyes "anyways i'll see you later, bye jack" she walked away with jonah as the other followed since all of their classes were that way as well

zach walked over to him and they walked to class.
the whole time all they did was talk away...yeah they worked but didn't pay attention as much to the teacher as they did eachother.

"hey do you care if i sleep over?" the rosy boy asked and jack blushed a bit

"i'm sure my momma won't care...is there anything wrong at home?" he asked and zach rolled his brown eyes

"no...just wanted to stay" he chuckled a bit before a small smile spread across his lips and jack was a overwhelmed by how cute his smile was.

"well okay then" jack went back to working as they continued sharing short glances at one another

"Mr. Herron..." she teacher called on zach to answer a question and surprising he got it right leading jack to laugh a bit.
