"Hazel, truth or dare?"
I take a deep breath and attempt to slow my heart rate. Despite the heat rising in my cheeks and that feeling in my gut that tells me I'm gonna die of embarrassment soon, I gently remind myself that I'm still that bitch. If I can get through being a half blood, I think I can handle a little game. I look at Jason with what I hope is an intimidating look and answer, "Dare".
"You sure?"
"Yes."
"Really??" he asks, skeptical.
"Yes! I pick dare."
Frank nudges me gently and gives me a look, for a second I think he's going to tell me it's okay to pick truth if I'm scared, but instead he says "Give em hell". I laugh, and turn back towards Jason, "What's my dare then?"
Tapping his chin he looks at me and I can see the gears grinding. Then, he squints and speaks very slowly, "...Okay, Hazel I dare you to let us all read your fanfiction."
I stop breathing completely.
"How did you know about that?"
He lets out a breathy laugh and I catch his eye flit towards Frank. I can't believe it, he sold me out. I turn towards the traitor, slowly and meet his worried face, and I speak very slowly and calmly so he can understand.
" Frank, dear,"
"... yes?"
"I am going to kill you."
Before I can lunge at boyfriend of the year, Annabeth pulls me away, "Haze, you don't want to kill him, you love him."
"I'm going to kill him."
Frank holds his hands up in a pleading way, "Hazel Basil, sweetheart, please."
"You told him about my fanfiction."
"No! I didn't!"
I narrow my eyes at him, and raise an eyebrow, "Then how does he know?"
"Well I was reading it, and well um, okay well so I was reading it right? And I had it  on my tablet I...one second I had the tablet, with the fanfiction, um and then the craziest thing- you wouldn't even believe how- well you would believe because it's the truth and ... um"
"Get to the point, man", Leo laughs.
"Jason might've snuck up behind me and read some of it"
Crossing my arms I ask, " How much?"
"Um, kind of a lot"
"Frank!"
"Sorry!"

~~~~~~••oOoOoOo••~~~~~~
With all my friends crowded around Frank's tablet, I feel the need to defend myself, "Just so you guys know, I wrote this when I was like 12."
They don't respond, so I continue, "So don't judge me because it's really embarrassing."
Percy responds with "Oh don't worry we're definitely judging you".
"Totally", agrees Thalia.
Everyone else nods in agreement, except Frank, who still feels bad, but I couldn't stay mad at him if I wanted to so I give him a reassuring smile, and he brightens up. The next hour or so is spent hearing them laugh at all the dumb stuff I wrote, and I laugh along too. Life's no fun if you can't laugh at yourself. By the time they've all finished, and I've been thoroughly embarrassed, it's dark outside already.
Annabeth, in all her wisdom speaks up, " Looks like we should all head back to our cabins and get some rest, we have a long day of training tomorrow morning."
A few people groan but we all know she's right. We exchange a few goodnights and a group hug, and just like that we're all headed home for the night.
The End
Thank you all for reading, it only took seven years haha.
This chapter is dedicated to Chase because he is only person I know in real life who I've let read this (so far).
