“Hey Ave!” It was Kris.

“Kris! Hi!” I haven’t seen him for so long.

“How’ve you been Avery? It’s been so long since I have seen you.” He sat beside me. I was sitting in one of the benches at the basketball gym.

“Well, I’m alive so probably I’m okay?” I laughed and stated sarcastically. “How about you man? How did you look so handsome?” he laughed at my remark. “And please don’t tell me someone’s making you that glowing cause I ain’t believing!” I exclaimed but after waiting for a couple of minutes as he was only looking at me smiling slyly and not saying anything had given me all the answers to my questions that made me looked at him unbelievingly. He just nodded. “Oh my! I hate you!” I exclaimed but honestly happy for him.

“I love you too!” He snickered as he showed his billion dollar annoying smile.

“Hey! Here I thought you loved me!” Another man’s voice behind me spoke all of a sudden that made me turn to look. There walking towards us was a man holding pink milk and two iced coffees. He still looked hot despite the sweat dripping from his hair to his shoulders.

“I do and will always do.” Kris uttered softly beside me since Henry had already taken a seat beside him.

“You guys-?” they just both nodded. “Oookayyy~” Henry handed me the other iced coffee and gave Kris the pink milk. “Thanks. But you better go take a shower cause you’re kinda spreading hot steams to us and I don’t feel like removing my jacket.” I uttered in annoyance because the moment he handed Kris his drinks they started exchanging honey words.

“Okay. I’ll see you guys in a few minutes.” Henry chuckled and left leaving his iced coffee to Kris.

“Disappearing for a week and when you came back the faculty’s heartthrob is yours?” He just nodded.

“Enough about us. But Ave I have been away for a week but I have heard some rumors that you turned down an offer of going abroad for Summer Job?” He asked confused. Well, the Summer Job he was talking about was a 3 months Summer Job in a famous fashion magazine in Paris, The Royale. Though I had taken up Communication Arts, I became famous for my unique style of photography and fashion sense.

“I don’t feel like going. Though I had turned it down Miss Guintuolli of The Royale told me to think about it since I still have 5 months before Summer Job starts. We major in Communication Development Kris and I plan to have my Summer Job at an Entertainment Company, probably at a radio station or a broadcasting station and not some fashion industry.” I explained.

“You sure about this?” he asked with concern in his eyes as I nodded. “Okay, I won’t force you with anything but I do hope you really know what you want.”

“You’ve been by my side for too long Kris. You know how I am, I always stand firm to my decisions.” I said as I took a sip from my Iced coffee.

“Hey!” Henry called as he sat in between Kris’s feet and as if on cue Kris started drying his hair.

Letting out a sigh. “I’m happy that both of you finally went out of your own comfort zone.” I smiled at them and they just looked at each other.

“This is all thanks to you Ave. If you hadn’t knocked some sense into my head last week, I would’ve probably lost the best person in my life.” Henry smiled at me and so was Kris.

“You should do the same Ave.” Kris said that made Henry and I looked at him confused. “You know what I’m talking about Ave but for now, always remember that you have us beside you.” He said that makes me want to cry that is if only I was the previous me.
