Modern day. 8:25 p.m.
Finn's POV
We waited for Kalvin to finally come back from the gas station when he finally did, I couldn't help but wonder what took him so long. Was he playing with his asshole hair or some shit like that? Doesn't matter.
"Alright, toetruck won't be here till morning so all we have left to do is go to the hotel and meet up with Audrey and Luna."
🕐Later that night🕐
"What do you mean you didn't see them come in? This place is a fucking ghost town. They're literally the only people who could have came here before us." Micheal demanded an answer from the old woman at the front desk
"I mean what I said, I haven't seen the girls you're looking for. I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you"
"I swear to God you old hag if you're lying you're gonna be more dead than this shithole you call a business"
"Micheal! Jesus christ! Ease up man."
I had to intervene before Micheal did something even more stupid,
But looks like I didn't need to because right after another old woman came from the backroom with a bewildered look on her face, she must've not have gotten the memo.
"What the hell is the meaning of all this?!" She didn't sound happy.
"These little punks accused me of knowing where their whores are!"
"YOU FUCKING CUNT! YOU WANNA SAY THAT SHIT AGA-"
"Micheal, chill" I held him back, if they were maybe going to help us out, they weren't going to now.
"I know what room your friends are in."
"Okay thank fuck, where???" Michaels worry started to fade.
"Room 233, boys."
"Thank you so much. So do I get a key or???" Micheal asked with curiosity,
"You really think I'm just going to hand it over? Tell me what the girls look like, I need to know you're not just a bunch of wackos."
"Oh, well, one of them is my fiance. She is really short and she has glasses."
"Mmhm, and the other one?"
That's when I spoke up to describe Luna,
"Black hair, really thin girl?" I said
"Alright. Here you are."
She handed Micheal the key and I got excited for something we should have just gotten in the first place.
🕐Later in the hotel🕐
Audrey's POV
I woke up to the sound of a door open and the dim light from the corridor seeping into the room and onto my face, then I heard male voices.
It took me less than a second to figure out it was Micheal and Finn.
I groggily opened my eyes to see them both standing in the doorway, I got up, turned on the lamp, and put my glasses on.
"Hey baby, we didn't mean to wake you up." Micheal said in a soft voice, I love him so much.
"Well maybe I did." Finn said smirking, dumbass.
I threw a pillow at his head, it just missed him and hit the ugly abstract painting behind him, knocking it down.
"Well.... someone woke up on the wrong side of the dirty jizz covered hotel bed," Finn joked.
"So where's Luna?" I asked
"You know....I actually have no idea." I answered honestly
"She was here when I went to sleep."
"Great." Finn says irritated.
Kalvin finally says something
"I could go see if I can find her"
"I'll come with you." Finn exclaimed
🕐Later on🕐
After Finn and Kalvin left, Micheal crawled into the bed with me while I tried to get some more sleep, I felt him running his fingers up and down my arm, I ignored it at first but then he started kissing my neck like is he seriously doing this? Now? I let him go on for a few moments before he started to nibble on my ear,
I jolted up quicker than I thought was possible
"What's wrong babe?" He asked concerned.
"Well, they could be back any minute now. And I'm exhausted."
"Oh, well why didn't you say anything?"
"Ugh I don't know. I'm sorry baby, it's just I'm not in the mood."
"What do you mean?" He furrows his eyebrows and looks up at me.
"This place doesn't feel right, it just gives me bad vibes, you know?"
"Awe, you scuurred baby?" He mocked me, but I was being serious.
"Yes. Actually." I say truthfully.
"Well you know you got me to protect you." He said smiling, like he was joking but he at the same time was being completely genuine.
"I know I do, but you won't always be there, you know? That's why I should know how to take care of myself. And I'm not so sure I could do that."
I realized how vulnerable I was making myself to him, telling him that, I guess it's time he knows his soon-to-be wife is a coward.
"Wait, what? Why would you say that?" He still doesn't get it.
Maybe if I be straight forward with him he finally will understand the problem,
"Oh, nothing. Just the fact that you're fiance is an anxious basket case." There, i said it.
"Okay. I guess you've got a point." He tells me.
"We still don't have to do anything if you don't want to, babe." He also exclaims,
This is the reason I feel safe with him, he's a sweetheart. Unlike most people these days.
"Thank you for understanding, Micheal."
"That's my fucking job, isn't it?"
