It's was almost Christmas, and we are all in Eric's basement watching The Grinch while Donna and I decorated the tree.
"Man, the Grinch has a bag butt!" Donna said making me turn around on the ladder
She looked at me and nodded towards the tv, "Oh yah he does... kind of jealous" I said making Donna laugh
"Yes! Nothing says Christmas like a big green Grinch ass!" Fez said with a smile making me laugh. He's so weird
"So, Eric, what are you doing Christmas Eve?" Kelso asked turning on the couch to look at him
"Well, my parents are having the same lame Christmas party they have every year. All the adults." Eric said, "Hey neighbor, is that mistletoe?" He began imitating his neighbors at the party with his tongue
I laughed, "All right guys! How does that look?" I asked leaning back to look at the tree
"Its great, man." "Looks fabulous" Eric and Hyde said at the same time making me smile at my work on the tree
"Guys, the ornament's are up here." Donna said. I turned around to see Hyde and Eric looking at our butts.
"Oh yeah" "Looks great" I laughed at there reactions and shook my head. I placed my hands-on Hyde's shoulders and he quickly grabbed my hips as I jumped down, setting me down in front of him. I smiled up at him, before turning to Donna.
"We did an awesome job" I said to her
"Agreed!" She said
Donna and I walked around the couch and sat down in front of the tv. Jackie started going on about herself like usual and I just zoned her out and watched the Grinch. Don't get me wrong, I like Jackie, but sometimes she's just so full of herself I want to throw my shoe at her.
I heard someone coming down the stairs and looked up to see Eric's mom, "Oh what are you guys doing watching cartoons?" She said switching the channel, "Holiday Inn is on!"
She started to sing before pulling Eric into the backroom to get him to help get the Christmas decorations.
"You know what my favourite Christmas gift is?" Kelso asked "Lite Brite. Its fun making things with Lite Brite." I looked at him with squinted eyes. A child. He is a child. "Well it is"
"Man, my favourite gift is cash. That way you can buy whatever you want. Know what I mean, Alyssa?" Hyde said looking at me
I nodded, "Yep." I answered.
"Like, let's just say, someone gave you $6 and some change, right? You know, to buy a present. What would you get?" He asked me
"Well, it doesn't matter how much something costs. It's the thought that counts... personally I would be okay with no gift, I don't like Christmas" I answered glancing at the tv
"Really?" Donna asked surprised
I shrugged, "I don't mind the decorating....and the drinking of course" She laughed and nodded
"You know what I like?" I looked at Jackie, "Diamonds." She said patting Kelso on the leg
All the sudden I heard 2 screams making me sit up quickly. Eric and his mom came running out of the back room.
"We were going through a box of Christmas decorations and we found the Christmas rat." Eric said bluntly as his mother ran upstairs. Donna and I looked at each other and nodded before heading for the door.
After the fun was ruined by Ralph the Rat, Donna and I decided to go get our Christmas gifts at the mall. I didn't really have anyone to buy for, so I just went with her for something to do. I always find it hard to shop for other people, I always end up buying for myself. Donna went into a store to buy something for her mom, and I came out with a new outfit for myself. Merry Christmas to me!
