A place To Stay

Adrien's POV
Alya's party was a blast and it took up the first 2 periods of the morning!I couldn't help thinking about what Chloe said though. Their clothes did look a bit like my fathers design but it was something I'd normally come up with, like the design was literally a cat. Also how did they know it was Alya's birthday? They had only met us yesterday.

As I headed into my limo I look back to see Emma, Louis and Hugo heading in the direction of my house. I decided to offer them a lift so I could get some answers for M'lady, oh and to save them the walk of course.
"Hi Emma! I'm Adrien from your class would you guys like a lift home?"
Emma looked at her brother for help. She couldn't tell him that they lived on the streets.
"No it's fine Da...Adrien." Louis stuttered. Louis reminded me of Marinette, always stuttering around me. Was I to intimidating? Then I realised something. They all reminded me of Marinette, Emma with her Marinette style purse and Hugo looked just like a male version of her. I snapped out of my thoughts.
"I insist my house is in the same direction."
Louis looked at Hugo who kept tugging him and complaining.
"Ok thanks Adrien could you drop us off at Tom and Sabine's Bakery."
"That's the opposite way," I say confused as to why they were heading my way.
"Oh silly us," Emma replied turning on her heels towards the bakery, dragging her brothers.
"Hey don't worry we'll still drive you it's no big deal." I offered.
"Okay thanks Adrien."

As we drove Louis and Emma were constantly texting each other by the looks of it, and pointing at the map which had at least 40 red x's on various places where there were........massage stores? I silently took a picture to show Ladybug, maybe it had some relevance.

Louis's POV
I was silently arguing with Emma all the way. We were going to see Master Fu but I knew if I told Adrien he'd think that it would  be to suspicious to go to a massage store after school. I just replied to Emma saying that all that's going to happen is that mum and dad would find out their identities anyway. I decided to tell Adrien to take us to Grandma's and Grandpa's bakery because Hugo loved their cooking, and we would maybe get a chance to speak with mum I mean Marinette. We had been searching all night for Master Fu and I just decided that it would probably be better to tell Ladybug herself even if it meant revealing their identities and saying that we were from the future, but getting Marinette alone at school wasn't easy. Adrien, even harder.

"Thanks for the lift," I said picking up Hugo.
"Anytime."
"Bye bye da..," said Hugo but I quickly covered his mouth. I smiled at Adrien and the 3 of us walk into the bakery.

There was only 2 other people in there besides our Grandparents which I was thankful for.
"Hi sir could I please get 3 croissants and 6 macaroons." Emma asked politely taking out Alix's special card. I made a mental note to tell dad to pay Alix back.
"Of course." Tom said and went to collect our order. "That would be €5.00."
"Thank you very much Mr Dupain, um just one more question, is Marinette home? She's in our class and I forgot what we had to do for homework.
"Oh yes she is I'll call her down, MARINETTE!!!"
"Yes Papa?"
"Some friends from school want to ask you about the homework."
"Oh okay tell them to come up."

I sighed in relief, I thought for a moment he wouldn't let us go up. I remembered what mum said about her parents being careful of who they let into their house, after Marinette told them Chloe and Sabrina took her diary. I knew their house only too well and not much had changed between the past and future.

"Oh hi Emma, Louis and Hugo! What homework did you forget."
"Umm that's not actually the reason we came here."
"What!?"
Marinette's POV
I was surprised. I wondered why they wanted to see me.
"Umm you know uh Ladybug don't you? I um overheard you talking to Alya about her being one of your friends." Emma said. Louis looked at her with a mix of surprise and annoyance.
It was true I did say that because Alya was really close to figuring out my identity but that was at the ice cream shop 4 days prior to when they arrived at school. Unless they were watching us? No that wouldn't make any sense.
"Uh yeah I'm friends with her."
"Well we um were told by some new superhero's that they wanted to talk to you at the uh......" Emma turned to her brother.
"Uh that roof over there around tomorrow at 7:00pm." Louis quickly added on pointing at a roof not to far from the bakery where Ladybug and Chat Noir normally met up for patrol.
"Okay? Um thanks if I see her I'll tell her." I say
"Thanks a bunch mu....Marinette." Emma replied.
"bye bye mu.....," Emma quickly ushered Hugo outside before he could finish his sentence.

Adrien's POV
I go into my bedroom after another dinner in which my father did not attend. Instead of sitting on my couch I go sit right in front of my oversized window and peer out into the clear night blue sky. I loved sitting here even if it did remind me that I was almost being kept in some sort of prison, but it was what I used to do with mum. We would sit and talk about our day and even make jokes. Dad sometimes joined, we loved to build pillow forts and they always ended in pillow fights. Then she disappeared and dad changed. Not dramatically he was never the talkative type but he seemed to isolate me even more and this time I didn't have Mum to comfort me. At least I had Plagg. Between the mouthfuls of cheese he actually gives some good advice and has become my best friend and the only person that I can share my double life with.

As I continue to stare out onto the street I notice something odd. I take a closer look and I recognise Louis and Emma carrying a sleeping Hugo down the street. They stop off at the park bench just below my window and fall asleep. I quietly rush out of my room. I was so surprised. I didn't realise they were homeless that must have been why Louis asked to go to the bakery instead of straight home. I walk silently through the grand hall and unlock the door, being careful not to wake my bodyguard up. I know there are cameras so I made sure I was only wearing my black t-shirt and not my white collar shirt.

"Emma, Louis." I say quietly trying not to scare them.
"Oh my gosh Adrien you scared me." Which didn't work.
"Sorry I just wanted to ask if you wanted to come inside it's freezing out here?"
Emma and Louis looked at each other then at Hugo. They couldn't turn down such an offer, it was getting more exhausting trying to manoeuvre Hugo around all night and stopping him from saying mum or dad to Adrien and Marinette.
"Okay um but what about your dad?" Asked Louis.
"He doesn't have to know," I replied taking Hugo in my arms.

We tiptoe quietly up to my bedroom where I let the 3 of them stay in the upstairs part of my bedroom. There was a spare bed up there for when mum and dad stayed in my room while the builders were doing works near theirs. (They could have been making Gabriel's lair. Who knows.)
"Thank you so much Adrien," said Emma setting Hugo down on my couch.
"No problem it's the least I can do, I'm really sorry I didn't realise you didn't have anywhere to live."
"No worries Adrien we are really grateful."
