The New Hero's

Adrien's POV
"So let me get this straight, you are both superhero's from 2039 and here to get help because M'lady and I are captured by a new villain Lady Butterfly.
"Yeah." Emma confirmed.
Well that answers Ladybug's question I thought, thankful that they weren't Hawkmoth and Mayura.
"So you know who Hawkmoth was." I asked trying to see if we can defeat him once and for all.
"Yes but Mum strictly told us not to say." I was confused, they kept talking about their parents a lot and I wondered why the information they could say was limited.

"Who are your parents? They seem quite connected to the miraculous's," I asked out of interest.
Louis looked at Emma.
"Can we Em?"
"I guess we did get this far." I looked at them waiting patiently.
"Our Mum is Marinette and well my name is Louis Agreste so you could say our parents are connected to the miraculous's." I could feel my face grow hot. Out of the infinity answers I could have thought of, that was not one of them.
"Sorry I uh need bathroom to go."

I rushed off in a hurry into my bathroom and locked the door behind me. Plagg followed me in and as soon as the door shut he burst out laughing.
"Bwahahahahaha, your face hahaha priceless." I heard him teasing as I splashed my face with water. Thoughts we're wizzing through my head at the sudden shock. I married Marinette. I married Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the girl who lives at my favourite bakery,my friend who loves fashion, her. But what about Ladybug? Did I give up? Did she marry someone else? Did she DIE! Is my older self regretting his decision to give her up or is he happier with Marinette? No Adrien don't think like that Marinette is a nice sweet girl why would you regret it. I finally decide to come out of the bathroom.

"I um have to get some sleep guys I'll see you tomorrow." I say not looking at them.
"Okay Adrien," they both replied as they picked up Hugo and went into the side room.

Time backtrack to when Adrien was freaking out in the bathroom

Emma's POV
I glared in annoyance at Louis.
"Louis I meant for you to say Ladybug not Marinette."
"Oh come on Em his face was priceless." Louis joked leaning back on the couch.
"He's got a point Emma,"said Plikki as she ate some cherries. "From what Uncle Plagg told me he was always pinning over Ladybug, time for him to notice Marinette." Tagg nodded in agreement.
"Can't argue with that, you really did elicit a great reaction." Emma replied sighing.

Plikki wasn't wrong, Adrien's room was full of Ladybug merchandise, rows and rows of action figures dotted around his oversized room. He had a life sized poster on his wall and he had a ladybug t-shirt which he had bought without asking his father, he had only ever worn it once and that was when his father was away on a business trip.

"Jeez I never actually realized how large Dad's room is," said Louis having a snoop around.
"Well you know Grand-père, he always goes for the best money can buy."
"I still prefer my bedroom, it doesn't have that sense of loneliness," Louis said sitting back down on the couch.
"Yeah because it's almost a disco and party room instead of a bedroom." I said thinking of his messy and party sort of room.
"Hey Uncle Nino said he'd jazz it up a bit and he did so stop being jealous."
"I'm not jealous because dad did my room, don't make that face, he was the one who added my skateboard ramp and my library."
"You got a skateboard ramp and you never told me?" He said pretending to be hurt.
"Louis are you blind or something it's been there for 2 and a half years."
"I know that because I remember Dad saying something about it being dangerous, I get where he's coming from I wouldn't be surprised if he went down his ramp and smashed straight into the window."
We both burst out laughing when Adrien emerged out of the bathroom.

"I um have to get some sleep guys I'll see you tomorrow," he said.
"Okay Adrien, um just one question before you go have you ever ridden a skateboard on that ramp?"Louis asks.
"Once with my mother and I smashed into that window, Dad tried next and he smashed into it right after me." He replied chuckling. "Those were some great times,"
"Sounds like loads of fun."
"In the future, am I ...... um like my father?"
"You have some similarities like overprotection, involved in the fashion business but otherwise you're mostly like a combo of Chat and Adrien, you're the best dad we could ever have!" I reply.
"And what about me and Marinette, do we,....uh get along well."
"Absolutely, the only time she had ever shouted at you was when you threw yourself in front of an akuma and when you burnt the kitchen while trying to surprise her on Valentine's Day with homemade cookies."
"That does kinda sound like me," he chuckled in response. "Well goodnight again."
"Goodnight Adrien." We say as we head up to the side room where we were staying taking Hugo as well.

The next day

Marinette's POV
I walked to school in a hurry because I promised I'd meet Alya at 7:30 in the library.
"Marinette you should really be more organised," reminded Tikki as she emerged from my purse."
"Tikki hide!"
I looked down at my purse making sure Tikki was back safely hidden when I bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm so sorry Marinette." Said Adrien.
"Ohh it's fine, I mean your fine no I'm fine."
Adrien helped me up. Time almost froze as soon as our eyes locked, luckily Alya called me sparing us an awkward conversation. Adrien was the first to look away averting his eyes to Alya, a slight tinge of pink lingered on his cheeks.

"Hey Alya," He said waving as she walked over to where we were standing.
"Hey guys,did you see what I posted on the Ladyblog?"
"No," we both said equally confused.
"NEW SUPERHEROS!"
"WHAT!!" I say pulling out my phone.
Yeah I saw them last night," exclaimed Alya excited. I looked at the footage.
"Alya are you sure that's not just Ladybug and Chat Noir."
"Positive, look the bug's a boy and the cat is a girl and they're looking at a map, I'm pretty sure Ladybug and Chat Noir know their way around Paris," explained Alya. I knew she was right plus Chat and I weren't around that part of town last night.
"Maybe they were the superheros Emma and Louis were talking about."
"Sorry what?" Adrien asked confused.
Darn I said that out loud
"Uh yeah Emma and Louis came to me asking if I could pass on a message to Ladybug."
"What message did they want to say?" Asked Adrien who was unusually interested.
"For Ladybug and Chat Noir to meet them at the top of their Patrol roof at 7:00." I said absentmindedly.
"Ooooh scooop, Thanks girl it's so helpful now that I know your friends with Ladybug."
"No problem Alya." I replied mentally slapping myself in the face. Why did I have to tell her, now she's going to spy on us.
"So your friends with Ladybug," stated Adrien.
"Uhh yeah close really... I mean really close."
"Close?"
Oh no he was going to find out!
"Noooo more like far far I mean yeah we're friends but not like Alya and I but um,you know like you and me just friends not super close, not that I didn't want to be super close like really close .......um .......yeah I'll just stop talking."
