I looked up at the metal doors, as risky as it already is, leaving my section, and coming to Aries, I have a title, and I intend to live up to it. I knock on the doors, it echoed like the school bell back in Gemini. There was no answer. I knock again, this time Eric looked down at me. “What do you want?”
I squared my shoulder and said, “I want to see Sammy.”
“Um yeah, we don’t except rebels or sluts, in this area, so um, piss off.”
I lodged my foot in the gap as he went to slam the doors, “I said let me see Sammy.”
“Get outta here slut.” Slut? How dare he call me a slut.
My voice shook, “What did you just call me?” My fist clenched at my sides, one more word from him, just one word…
“Slut.” He said.
Eric slammed onto the floor.
But it wasn’t my fist.
“Arrrrrgggghhhh!” Sammy bangs his fist repeatedly against the jagged stones walls.
“Stop!” I pulled his hands away and they came out stained red. His faced was beaded with sweat. I tugged his arm and we walked back to Aquarius. “Wait in my room, I’ll get some bandages,”
Was it fair that Sammy got hurt but not me? I don’t know anymore. As I walked back to my room, something about Eric was bothering me, he was still a dickhead as usual, but it wasn’t him. “So, what movie are we watching?” I laughed, after all that happened today, he thought of the movie. I shrugged, “Theresa Palmia, how can you not have already picked a movie?! Today is movie night!”
I came over and gave him the bandages which he skilfully wrapped his injured hand. “How did you know how to do that?”
“Maybe there is some benefits of living in an army camp,” he kissed me lightly on the cheek. “Since you did not pick a movie, it is official that we are watching ‘The Fault In Our Stars’.” He goes over and opens the wall. I don’t mean he opens a cabinet in the wall, but the wall. He turned back around, with ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ movie in his hands. He raised his eyebrows at me, “Another benefit of living in an army camp: learning how to find hidden cabinet in the wall.” I shook my head at him, and we just watched the movie.

I fell asleep with my head resting on his shoulder. Sammy had a cute way of breathing, in through his nose and a little puff out of his mouth. I got up and threw on a pale yellow mid-drift top and dark denim short-shorts. I lightly shook him awake, “Hey, hey. Sammy wake up.” His eyes fluttered opened, revealing his sky blue eyes, they were as beautiful as they had always been. “You really should get back now. It’s eleven o’clock.”
He bolted straight up, “Shit, eleven?!”
“No, it’s only nine, but you really should go.” He got up and put on his shirt, I couldn’t help but notice the muscles that ran under his smooth skin, the muscles that weren’t there before. I remembered last, when I ran my hands along his bare skin, the way he put his arms around me as we watched the movie. “Have you been training in Ares?”
“Um, yeah why?”
“Nothing, it’s just that, I don’t know. Why though?”
“I kind of have to do it, they make us.”
All I could say was “Oh”. There was a knock on the door, Emma. I opened the door, but it wasn’t Emma.
I paled, the person that I was staring at had blood red eyes, multiple piercing and a scar. I swallowed back a scream, I took a step back, bashing into Sammy. I wheezed out, “Eric.”
