I'm getting really bad at making titles lol

And um,the reader's parents die in this story so if you don't like that stuff, don't read it mate. Also uh,if you've watched Naruto you probably would have no issue with this since it happens so much there

"(Y/N),I believe in you. You're a strong girl, don't let this affect you,"

Mother's voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke to me,laying on the floor, her eyes drooping and half lidded. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I continuosly wiped them away with the back of my trembling hand.

My clan, the Otsukita clan (I came up with this randomly lol) had been attacked by rogue ninjas for reasons I was told I was too young to understand. Of course, the news shocked me to the core. I immediately took off towards my house after hearing this piece of devastating news from the village elders, only to find my mother and older sister laying limp on the floor. My elder sister had passed out not long ago,and my mother was now trying to comfort me with the limited time she had. My father had left the world when I was of a very young age on a mission. I couldn't part with my mother and older sister, not now. Not when I was only a measly age of 5.

Choked sobs left my sore throat as I stared at the weak form of my mother. "(Y/N)...it's all going to alright. You'll be okay..." Mother's weak voice comfortingly spoke. I gave no response, only sniffing and sobbing harder as my grip on her cold hand tightened. "You'll...be...fine..." Mother mustered a weak smile before it all faded. Her eyes shut, the smile that I knew so well falling from her pale lips. Tears brimmed my twitching eyes as I watched her hand fall from my grip. "M-mom..." I whispered, fear and devastation laced in my soft voice. A scream ripped from my throat. A scream that I held for so long. I sobbed and cried into my small hands, wishing that all this was just a nightmare,a really bad nightmare, although deep down inside,I knew that this was far from a nightmare. This was reality. My harsh reality.

My eyes jolted open as I sat up on the bed, panting softly as sweat trickled down my forehead. My heart pounded against my chest as I sucked in quick, shallow breaths of air through my mouth. Curse those nightmares. This wasn't the first time I dreamt about those memories that haunted me wherever I went. I shook my head, laying back and colliding with the soft pillows on my bed. I shut my eyes, but quickly snapped them back open. The picture of my weak and shaking mother flashed through my mind every time my eyes fluttered close. I groaned, burying my face in the pillow.
I had to start at the shinobi academy tomorrow,so I needed to get enough rest. A sigh left my parted lips as I snuggled up to my pillow, drifting back into sleep.

I woke up as the blinding sun streamed into the room through my curtains. Groaning,I groggily sat up on my bed, rubbing my eyes before getting up and brushing my teeth, then slipping out of my comfy pajamas and into my normal wear.(I'll let you decide what you want to wear) I grabbed a bun on my way out of the door before stepping out onto the busy streets of Konoha that were buzzing with life. I kept my gaze on the floor as I strolled through the streets, listening to other people's chattering and laughter. I sighed. If only I could have friends like that...

Before I knew it,I had already reached the shinobi building that stood tall above all the other buildings. I sucked in a deep breath of fresh air before stepping through the gates of the school. I was nervous,to say the least. What was everyone going to think of me? All they probably knew me as was that one weird kid with no parents. I shook my head, pushing my thoughts to the back of my mind. All I needed to do now was just act normal. Easy, right?

~Another time skip~ (bc idk how to write anything here)

The day flew past in a blur. Soon,I was standing alone outside the academy gates, preparing to go home.

Out of the blue,a hand snatched my arm, dragging me away to who knows where. My eyes widened in shock and confusion,my feet tripping on each other as the stranger in front of me pulled me along. "What the hell? Hey! Who are you?" I snapped, struggling against the stranger's grip. I took a moment to gaze at him. He was facing away from me,the only thing visible to me being his pastel blue hair. He wore a loose, blue robe. From the hand that was gripping at my arm,I could tell that his skin was pale. Really pale.

The boy offered no response, only letting a chuckle fall from his lips. "Hey! Quit being weird! Where are you taking me?" I shouted. "You'll see," He replied shortly. I groaned, letting him drag me forward.

Not long after,he halted in his steps. I assumed we had reached wherever he wanted to take me. My mouth opened to yell at the boy,but froze as I took in the view before me. We were standing before a lake, where the trees parted perfectly to allow streams of sunlight to hit the crystal clear water. The area was covered in comfortable silence, the only things audible being the sound of water running and the occasional chirping of birds.

I soon snapped back into my senses. "Hey,why'd you bring me here?" I questioned, glancing back at the strange boy. Now that I could see his face,I took my time to take in his features. He had a pair of almond-shaped eyes, with yellow,snake-like pupils. He was indeed pale. Weirdly pale. "It's rude to stare," He commented, snapping me back to reality. My eyes widened as warmth spread across my cheeks in embarrassment. "S-sorry," I stuttered, sheepishly smiling.

"No worries," The boy replied, his eyes shutting in a closed-eye smile. My heart fluttered upon seeing his smile. I internally shook my head, reminding myself that I only had just met him. "I'm Mitsuki,by the way," He added. "(Y/N)," I answered. "So anyway, I brought you here because you seemed like you need someone to talk to. I know about your past - everyone does. It must be hard on you," Mitsuki said, sitting on the grass.

A sigh left my parted lips as I took a seat beside him. I was never one to publicly open up my emotions, especially to someone I had just met. Yet someone about Mitsuki made me feel comfortable. I felt like I could trust him. I took in a deep breath before beginning to explain everything to him. I poured my heart out,not noticing that a single tear had rolled down my cheek until Mitsuki's cold thumb made contact with my skin, wiping the tear drop off my face.

His yellow eyes gazed into mine, unleashing butterflies into my stomach. Mitsuki offered me another warm smile before a phrase that I knew so well slipped past his lips. "You're a strong girl,(Y/N),

I believe in you."

✎ᝰ┆Yayy,I got another one out for y'all. Sorry if Mitsuki isn't really like his actual personality here though. Hope you all enjoyed it!

Oh and btw,I came up with this for a challenge my friend, @Sevlyna (go follow her, she's a Super talented writer who's really underrated) gave to me a Long time ago, where you start and end a chapter with the same sentence. I hope mine's okay lol.
