His smirk made me shudder, chills running down my spine. His voice was smooth yet rough at the same time. It was sweet, yet it carried the faintest drop of bitter. His silver hair looked soft to the touch as it swayed in the subtle breeze. His fingers were long and slender, with veins that ran along each finger. His eyes were mostly half lidded, always carrying a hint of mocking amusement. They were a piercing dark blue colour that seemed to be able to look right through you. Another reason why everyone was head over heels for him.

However, he was a terrible person. Rotten to the core. So much so that I was convinced that his organs were tinted black. He was the devil in disguise, I was sure of it, and I was unlucky enough to have caught his attention. He was almost perfect in every aspect of the word. Almost. Everyone was head over heels for him. It wouldn't be the same if they knew about those devilish acts of his. He wore that sly smirk everywhere he went. That smirk that I wanted so desperately to slap off his perfect face. But I held myself together. It wasn't easy. I sometimes had to hold my fingers into tight fists to control my boiling anger.

I hated him. I hated the way my name rolled off so casually from his tongue. It sounded sugar coated, but it was everything but that. I hated the way he plastered that fake, plastic smile on those thin lips of his. I hated the way he wouldn't pry those filthy eyes of his off me. I hated how he perfectly sealed that devilish personality of his with a fake angelic persona.

It was crazy how sweet the devil's song sounded.

"Kazuno,"

My name was called in that disgusting honey coated voice. His words carried no emotion, only a tint of amusement that I hated oh so much. I grit my teeth as I began striding towards his figure. I kept my posture straight with my arms resting on the poofy dress I had on. He smiled coyly. His arm snaked around my waist. I was tense with the effort to refrain from pushing him away. I forced a smile onto my lips as we strolled towards the dance floor.

He held his hand out to me once we reached our destination. I reluctantly placed my hand in his, letting him guide me forward. His shoes made a soft tapping sound as he walked on the smooth dance floor. A twisted smirk decorated his lips as we moved together to the slow music. His fingers were burning as he peppered touches along my skin. To the eye, it seemed like a loving caress. But in reality, it was the complete opposite. It served as a warning not to slip up in front of everyone, which I obeyed.

I hated him. So so much. Just hearing his name made me shiver. But I didn't leave. I couldn't leave. He was my sweet addiction.

✎ᝰ┆This one is really a random oneshot. Just thought of a random phrase and was like 'this is good' so I wrote something about it. I've been updating a lot lately, I've been really inspired for some reason.

This thing was also kinda inspired by one of  Sevlyna 's oneshots. Y'all should go check her out, she's a really good writer but super underrated. Okay I'm hope y'all enjoyed this. Thanks for reading!
