CHAPTER 21

It was another normal day for Marinette

The only difference is Lila seemed to had made a new friend

Marinette P.O.V
I was worried about Lila when she got partnered up with someone else but i guess it all turned out well

They seem to be getting along really well since then

Im glad she was finally able to open up to someone

And to think it would be Nathaniel

She was able to stay busy with while im with the others

Nathaniel was pretty good at distracting her

I was talking to my squad of friends when suddenly Chloe approached us

"Hey Dupain cheng,my daddy is going to throw a huge party and he wants me to tell that he wants to order a lot of macaroons,maybe ****."

"Umm,dont you think thats a little bit too much?"

"So?I dont care,thats your problem.Make sure there are dark chocolates alright?"

"Are you sure this is all just for the party?"

"Thats none of your business!My daddy is paying so just shut up!It has to be delivered in **** so you and your parents better make the orders or else im telling daddy!"

And she huffed away from us and made a phone call

Geez bratty much

I can tell she's just gonna take and eat it for herself haha

So time passed and class was finally over

We were eating lunch and i made Lila and me eat with the others

There was not much tension and drama anymore but it was still a bit awkward

I excused myself to get a drink then i noticed a wet puddle in the doorway

Then i saw Chloe coming towards the door and i knew where this was headed

I immediately run up to her as she slipped through the floor

Luckily i arrived at time and catched her

Everyone saw that and gave us an applause

"OMG you were so awesome!"

"That was so cool!"

"Nice reflexes!"

I let go of Chloe and checked up on her

"Are you okay?Does it hurt anywhere?Did you hurt your le-"

"I-im okay,geez.im not that weak to break a-"

I let go of her and as she tried to walk she seemed to have had a sprain

Gosh i wasnt able to save her at time

"Ahhh!"she screamed

"Oh god Chloe i'll bring you to the nurse,dont worry"

I carried her carefully bridal style with no sweat and runned towards the clinic making sure Chloe wasnt getting worse

I could feel eyes looking at us but i couldnt care less

The mayors daughter had a sprain and everyone knows what would happen if she got hurt on school grounds

I burst open the door and brought her inside the clinic.

Luckily the nurse was present and i explain everything

The nurse immediately did her job and did some first aid

Luckily it was a light sprain and it would heal overtime

The nurse requested for me to get her home thinking i was her friend since i was the one who brought her here

"I'll just call my daddy,theres no need for you to-"

"Then how are you gonna get out of here and exit the school huh?"i asked with a smug face

She just gasped and took out her phone

Sabrina was left fixing up Chloe's stuff while we wait

Chloe tried to stand up and almost stumbled but i helped her up

"Come on,i'll help you go outside ok?"

"F-fine"

"Do you want me to hold your arm or carry you out like-"

"I can stand,ok.You can just help me walk"

Geez this girl

And so i put her arms in around my head and helped her walk out of there

I can see everyone especially Lila looking at us with disbelief and concern

When we were at the stairs i insisted i carry her down

She was hesitant and said i might let go of her since i was so clumsy

I got annoyed so i just swept her off her feet and carried her down the stairs

God being nice to her is so hard

I then let go of her and helped her get to the entrance of the school

Luckily a lemo was already there and we didnt have to wait

Her butler took her away but before she entered the car,she turned around and said

"Thanks"

With a blush on her face and she immediately got in after that

Phew finally,done

I had to argue with her a lot before i was able to help her up

I got back inside and was interrogated by my friends

I explained a bit and luckily the bell rang and that was an excuse to go back to class

Lila P.O.V

Im so jealous

I wish she would carry me like that

But i dint want to hurt myself again to get a lot of attention

People will only get the wrong idea

The tension about me here is starting to lessen up and i need to lay low until something new comes up

I can see that they are starting to see that i can actually be nice since thats what we have been trying to do this days

No one is starting an argument with me anymore and i can hang out with Marinette peacefully

Though i didnt expect for Marinette to be strong

She carried that girl like it was nothing and was even able to run

Maybe it has to do with her muscles

Maybe sometime i'll ask Marinette her secret about that

Well its time for class and i need to pay attention cause i dont want another F in a test

Ive had enough

Adrien P.O.V

Wow Marinette looked so cool when she carried Chloe away

I was more impressed when she was the one who helped her

I didnt expect for them to get along so well

This might be just a chance for Chloe to have a new friend

Im so happy for them

Alya P.O.V

Omg i am so posting this video in my blog

I was able to capture the whole thing and even filmed all the moments where Mari looked so cool

I didnt expect her to be so strong though

Does she work out or something?
