CHAPTER 24

Another ordinary for Paris

Marinette is heading to school with her friends

Not much has happened this past few days

Just your typical teenage days

Though thats what they thought this morning

Marinette P.O.V

Wow is it just me or is life been going uphill so much this days

Sure there were akuma attacks but they were pretty easy to handle

School has been so peaceful

This is bliss

And the best part,today were having baking lessons in our cooking class

Ahhh my specialty,i am so nailing this

I cant wait!!

*Baking class time*

"Okay everyone,so for todays cooking lesson,as ive said we will be baking"

Everyone cheered thinking it will be easy

"But-"

The teacher cutted making everyone get nervous and listen carefully

"This time you will be cooking individually"

The teacher announced and everyone booed

Well cant help it

Im okay with doing solo since im so acing this

Sometimes i can be too proud being a bakers daughter

"Marinette,can you please come over here?"

The teacher suddenly called

While i was daydreaming everyone was panicking on what to do

I went over to the teacher

"Marinette,we all know you are the best at baking here.So i was thinking if you could help some of your classmates when they cook.Just...guide them okay?"

"You can count on me mam!"i gave the teacher a reassuring smile and she  seemed happy with that

The teacher made us start baking and the recipe today is cupcakes

Easy enough

I started with my work by getting all the ingredients i need

I can see some of my classmates following and looking at me obviously trying to know what to get too

They observed the things i took and did the same

I just giggled at how adorable they all looked

I now focused at my work

I now started making the batter

Then preheat the oven

Oh yeah and the icing

I got some eggs,milk and sugar for it

I did the usual procedure and i was really happy with the result

I could still see my classmates observing me trying to know what to do

Luckily there are still some that knows the basic

I put the batter in the baking cups then into the cupcake tray

I put it in the oven and just wait

Well now that the cupcakes are in the oven maybe i should help some of my classmates

Right on cue,I saw Lila on her table
