Briar's P.O.V
Darling is reading the signs to see which way to go while Daring looks at his reflection in his sword. The truth is though, Daring actually is selfless after Epic Winter; but he pretends that nothing happened. In Epic Winter Rosabella and Daring had feelings for each other; but since Daring is pretending that nothing ever happened between them he broke her heart. When I say broke her heart. I mean that he told her that everything meant nothing and that he never cared about her and never will. After that she hasn't been the same. She isn't as cheery and happy, but acts happy and as if she is fine.
I look up at a tree above the signs and ask if anyone is there.
"Is anyone there?" I ask
When I say that someone appears lying on the tree. It is Kitty, Kitty Cheshire.
Kitty: "Meow" Kitty says as she smiles
"What are you doing here Kitty?" I ask looking up at the smiling Cheshire cat
Kitty: "Just lying around."
"Oh. Well Kitty I was wondering-" before I could finish Kitty cut me off
Kitty: "You are wondering if I know where Rosabella is."
Darling: "Yeah"
Kitty's P.O.V
"Hmm. This is a perfect opportunity for me to make mischief. I do know which way Rosabella went... But I will tell them the wrong path, so that they go the wrong way. My mum will be so prrroud of me." I think to myself.
"They went down that path." I say pointing at the wrong path that leads to Faybelle's castle.
Daring: "What do you mean 'they'?"
"Duchess, Faybelle and..." I said trailing off.
Darling: "And who?"
"Apple" I say smiling
Daring, Darling, Briar: "APPLE?!" They say in unison
Daring: "Have they done anything to Rosabella?" Daring asked clearly concerned
"I don't know. You'll have to find out yourselfs." I say disappearing only leaving my smile. Which slowly fades away.
