Kitty's P.O.V

I want to see what Apple, Duchess and Faybelle have done to Rosabella so I go there. Once outside the gates I take a deep breath and push open the gates. A cold blow of wind blows around me and makes me shiver. I walk up a few stairs and stand facing the giant wooden door. I knock on the door three times and wait to see if any opens the door for me. No one answers the door so I let myself in.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" I ask looking around for any sign of movement. There is no sign of movement so I figure they must not be here right now and turn to leave; but that's when a hand is placed over my mouth.

???: "Don't scream" someone whispers into my ears.

I recognise the voice but I can't think of who it is. This anonymous person takes me down a flight of stair that end at a basement. This basement is dark and cold. I get shivers down my spine.

???: "Nice to see you Cheshire." somebody says in the shadows.

The person who brought me down here took their hand off my mouth so I could speak. 

"Who- who are you?" I ask stuttering 

???: "It's me of course." says the person in the shadows as they slowly walk out of the shadows. I see some golden hair and skin as white as snow. I then see a red dress and realise who this person in the shadows is.

"Apple" I say squinting my eye to get a better look at this person in the shadows.

Apple: "Yes Kitty. How nice of you to show. Look behind you by the way." Apple says pacing up and down the basement looking at her nails. I look behind me to see Duchess standing there looking down at the floor and slowly lifting her head to look at me.

"Wait where's Faybelle?" I ask looking back at apple who is still pacing up and down and not looking at me.

She is to your left. I look to my left and surely enough there is Faybelle.

"So if your all here then where is Rosabella?" I ask turning back to Apple who stops in her tracks when I ask that.

Apple: "Why she's right here." Apple says as she looks up at me with a sly grin and steps aside from the cellar. I walk up to the cellar and see Rosabella lying on the cold floor curled up, bruised and blood surrounding her. I gasp and take a step back. 

"Can I have a talk with Faybelle and Duchess for a moment. It won't take long." I tell Apple

Apple: "Yes you may. I have  to do something with dear Rosabella anyway, and with that I walked up the flight of stairs with Duchess and Faybelle. 

"What is she going to do to her?" I ask Faybelle and Duchess when we get up stairs.

Duchess: "She is going to get a knife." Duchess says with a frown.

"Then what?" I ask getting worried and regretting my choice of leading Daring, Darling and Briar down the wrong path.

Faybelle: "She will make sure Rosabella can't get free of her grasp."

"And...?" I ask getting really worried

Duchess: "She will- she will.... I can't say it." Duchess says looking away

"Well, she will carve a tally mark in Rosabella's forearm." Faybelle says with a frown.

I gasp. There is a silence. When all of a sudden we heard a scream from the cellar Rosabella is in. We all cover our ears and frown. 

"We have got to do something. I can' t stand it."

Duchess: "Neither can I" Duchess says looking to Faybelle and I.

Faybelle: "Same, I can't stand it" Faybelle agrees 

"I say that I go and get Daring, Darling and Briar and bring them here. Then they distract her and Faybelle you can use your magic to lock Apple in one of the cellars; and while that's going on Duchess can get Rosabella free and out of the cellar. We will call Baba Yaga to see what's wrong with Apple and everything will be good... I hope." I say to Faybelle and Duchess you are listening carefully.

Duchess: "That sounds like a good plan" Faybelle says forcing a smile.

When we all agree I set out to get Darling, Daring and Briar.
