(Authors Note= Morgan isn't best friends with Prentiss or Reid in this. His best friends are Penelope and Lori -theres no sexual tension between him and Lori.) Lori and JJ are best friends as well. Rossi knew Lori's parents, he's her godfather and thats how she got considered for the BAU)

*BAU Office, Quantico, Virginia*

"Yeah man. I'll talk to my boss and see what I can do." Derek Morgan smiles into his phone, keeping the panicout of his voice. "Yeah. See ya buddy." He hangs up and goes to walk straight to Hotch's office but walking straight into his best friend instead. "Derek where are you rushing to?" Lori smiles brightly.

"Hotch's office 3xK moved to Hawaii. My guy at HPD called to say there's been 5 victims." He says rushed and the blondes eyes go wide.

"Then I'm coming with you!" She growls and catches up to him. Only hearing the '3xK' part of his sentence.

The two bolt to their boss' office, Aaron Hotchner was sat filling out reports at his desk when the two barge in.

"Weston! Morgan! Why the hell are you just barging into my offi-." He barks

"3xK. The Three Times Killer. He just struck 5 times in Hawaii." Morgan answers just as strongly. Hotch gulps and stands up.

"Assemble the team in the conference room. I want everyone ready to leave within the hour. I'll get the jet ready."

All three Special Agents leave the room, Lori offers, "I'll get Rossi, Prentiss and JJ. You get Garcia and Reid?"

The black man nods and the two separate, doing as their boss had asked and eventually meeting up in the conference room. Agent Hotchner starts, "3xK. Hes in Hawaii and his timeline says that he'll strike in two days. Lets go, Wheels Up in 40."

*at the jet*

The team are sat on the jet reviewing their files on the dangerous serial killer they call 3xK.

Lori is sat at the table seats next to her partner David Rossi, a fatherly figure who likes to look out for the team. Her leg is bouncing and her hands shake as she turns the page. He grabs her hand, "Are you okay sweetheart?" The blonde closes her eyes for a moment, remembering how her father would say the exact same thing.

Lori's POV

"I cant go there Dave. This case I know people there-" I mumble. Correction. "Knew people there."

"Morgan, where did you say we we're going?" JJ who was sat across from them joins the conversation, seeing me panic.

"Honolulu, Hawaii why?" He asks from next to JJ then realises, "Hawaii! Crap Lori I didnt think." He answers in a quieter voice than usual.

"What happened?" Rossi asks, Jayje and Derek already know.

"I worked in Hawaii years ago. Before the BAU. As a profiler and the Governor used me as a pawn.
If I give him intel I can stay or go where ever I wanted to. But when I didn't he made me choose; The State Of Hawaii or or the Five-0 Task Force.
When I said both, he told me no and I had to leave-." I explain hoping to leave Steve out of this.

"Who was he?" JJ asks me gently.

"Steve McGarrett, my boss and I was so stupid, I had feelings for him."

They nod, she knows JJ and Derek because they are all so in love with one of thier colleagues it's not even funny. And well Rossi has been married enough for all of us.

"Okay. No judgement, thanks for telling us." Morgan says. The tone of his voice leaving no room for arguement and people go back to work.

"Im going to go very overprotective now here." Dave says quietly, I nod so does Morgan, "If he says one thing to you or does something that makes you uncomfortable. I am going to murder him."

"Why would you do that for me. I was stupid, it's my fault that this'll be awkward. Because of how I left." I question him, quietly.

"Your the closest thing I have to a daughter and when you're dad died I needed to protect you. I guess I never stopped." He tells me, I think back to the day my dad died how he'd came into the house and made me a promised the exact same thing.

"Thanks Uncle Dave, but I know what I'm doing and I've been through things that i hadn't even thought about then. I wont break this time." I smile back.
