Authors Note: so in criminal minds, Prentiss has to use a different surname, Reynolds, for undercover purposes and in this, so does Lori and she's using the name Rossi
"What?" Kono gasp, shocked to hear what her boss had said. Surely enough, the woman who was her best friend was stood opposite Steve. "Lori."
"Kono!" She answers, trying to control herself. The two women hug and it's like Lori never left; Reid, Prentiss and Hotch look extremely confused Rossi not as much so.
"You work with the FBI? Well done, that's not easy." Chin Ho adds, receiving a smile in return.
KONO POV
"Lori, do you want to introduce us?" I ask gleefully. I have really missed my best friend even though we still talk every week.
"Erh... Yeah. These are SSA's Derek Morgan and Emily Prentiss they're in-field-profilers." Lori points at the tall black guy and raven haired woman.
"Dr Spencer Reid and SA Jareau, or JJ is our media liason." She nods at the lanky guy who smiles awkwardly in a younger brotherly way and a smaller, pretty blonde woman.
"Then at the back, there's SSA's In Charge Rossi and Hotchner, who we call Hotch." She tells us pointing out members of her team.
Lori smiles, I can tell she's proud of herself, being back here before continuing. "Hotch, meet Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett he heads up the team here, ex-military has a bit of a God complex like Morgan."
Danny laughs heartily as Lori starts to speak again, "Detective Sargeant Danny Williams. Good to have with you in the field."
ROSSI POV
"Detective Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly. The best weapons trained cop I've ever met. Has connections all over the island." Lori explains, pointing at the Hawaiian man. "Officer Kono Kalakaua, sniper and trained in Martial Arts. She's also trained in driving the big rigs."
"Then I'm guessing Lou Grover, SWAT captain, and hostage negotiator from Chicago?" She asks a large black man in a hideous shirt who smiles and shakes her hand in return.
The room falls silent for a moment before 'Steve' asks, "So do you want to show us what you've already got on this guy? We dont have much yet."
"That'd be great thanks, Agent Weston can I talk to you for a moment?" Hotch says with his usually dull voice.
"Of course." Lori obliges following Hotch out of the office areas.
"Why didn't you tell me that you've got a past in Hawaii, that you have connections here. Will being here with this team affect you doing your job." He asks shortly.
"I thought you knew. And it's in my file, also no it won't affect my job because I know what I'm doing and I'm a professional. Dave, Morgan and JJ knew. I assumed you did too!" The blonde throws her arms in the air exasperated.
"Okay. Back to work, I'll decide of I'll write you up for this." She nods and joins the team. "Oh and Lori. I want you to lead this."
"What-." Morgan asks her, walking to stand next to her.
"Leave it Derek. I mean it." She warns him before they join the rest of the Agents, Detectives and Officers. "So Agent Hotchner has decided to let me lead tbis investigation. So lets start with the profile we have so far."
"Our suspect or as we say UnSub. Is a white male aged 25 to 40. He is manly so he uses extreme brute force and has little regard for being in public or being seen." Rossi starts.
"He uses such force becausehe is chauvinistic and believes he is superior to women." Prentiss continues.
"His nickname is 3xK. The Three Times Killer. He kills is patterns: 3 in one place; 6 in the next. One brunette, one blonde and one red head. His total death toll is at 35. He kills in patterns of 3-6-3-6."
"Why do all the victims look similar? A-and the blonde one looks like Lori." Kono asks, slightly intimidated by all the profilers.
"They all have their faces untouched. This is because they've all recently had some form of plastic surgery or facial alterations. And your correct, all the blonde victims look like Lori. The red headed victims resemble a detective out of the New York Major Crimes. And the brunettes look like a detective from the 21st in Chicago." Morgan finishes and the Five-0 team look horrified.
"How did the death toll get to 35?" Danny asks confusedly.
"He killed 3 in Pennsylvania, Texas, Georgia and Louisianna. Then he killed 6 in New York, Florida, Chicago and 5 so far here. He disappears as well. His files have already gone missing in Texas, Florida and New York."
"Why does he treat the blonde worse than the other women." Chin asks.
"Because I anger him. I upset him by not being scared."
"How?" Steve wonders. But before Lori answers.
"He attacked her. Brutally and she fought back, shot him and insulted his ego, strength and intelligence." Reid cuts in.
"Then how ain't he in custody?" Grover asks.
"Whatever of his blood i had on me was mixed with dirt or my blood. I couldn't run to catch him after he slammed my head against the wall. I had memory loss amd PTSD, so whatever I would remember cannot and would not stand in court." Lori looks at the floor while 5-0 gape at her.
