It's been three weeks since the attack in the hospital. Hiro was back up and running doing what he does best, only he had some pretty big scars just about everywhere. " Hey Tadashi, do you think this prototype looks good?" questioned Hiro. " Yeah, I would add an extra sensor on the control though." replied Tadashi. " Ok thanks" Hiro said. Tadashi had been doing some detective work on the masked man who attacked his brother. He immediately knew that the microbots were invented by his brother for his college audition. Something he couldn't process was who would do something so cruel?
Hiro knew that Tadashi was up almost 18 hours in a row trying to find a clue to who did this. " Hey Tadashi, I know that you care about me a lot but you have to have some fun ya know. We haven't gone to the park in like forever. I know that I got hurt pretty bad but it wasn't your fault. You can let it go. I'm fine." Tadashi turned to Hiro, causing the 14 year old to see the sad ans worried look on his brothers face. " Hiro, I'm sorry that we haven't done anything fun for a while. It's just that I'm worried about you. Seeing you being hurt that badly, -------- it reminded me of mom and dad. If I lost you, I don't know what I'd do." sobbed Tadashi. " But I'm still here." replied Hiro. " I'm still and no matter what I will always be here for you, just like you always are for me. " Hiro ran to his brother and hugged him while his eyes watered and tears free-falled. Tadashi hugged back even tighter than Hiro saying " No matter what I will always be here for you. "I love you Hiro." "I love you too Tadashi." said Hiro. The brothers let each other go, when Tadashi said " Your right Hiro, lets go to the park." Hiro smiled as a response and ran down the stairs. He was about to step off the last stair when he felt a throbbing pain in his head causing him to close his eyes tightly. " Ah..." he whispered. Tadashi was at the top of the stairs when he noticed his brother stopped. " You ok Hiro?" asked the concerned brother. " Yeah, yeah I-I'm f-fine." he responded as he held his head. He opened his eyes and noticed his vision was a little blurred but shook it off. He walked to the door waiting for his brother to come. Tadashi sensed that something was off, but failed to interrogate Hiro anymore. The two brothers walked out the door and headed down the street to their favorite park smiling at each other as if to say thank you. For they both had something to be thankful for.
