Chapter 5: Some Secrets are Better Left Buiried

Nathan's POV
It's November 6, and it's okay. I got a stupid bet from Valorie to always do Gangnam style dance when a car comes by. I agreed. I am pretty stupid. I should get extra points for that.
Valorie and Destiny were talking really soft. I tried to eavesdrop p, but Val's nightmarish eyes told me to stay back.
When they finally started to walk towards us, they kept whispering. Valorie finally said something:
"I have a confession. So does Destiny."
They explained how they had weird powers, but quickly went through them. Apostates, blah blah. Chantry, blah blah. Stuff like that.
"What if we have powers, too?" Said Ashton.
"All right." Destiny said. " meet me at the edge of the forest."
That's when we became the fantastic five.

Trent's POV
We went to the forest, and met each other. Valorie looked nervous.
"Plan." She said." Stay away from the people." We went deep into the forest. And in a clearing, we stopped.
"We're gonna have to camp here." She said.
We had nothing. Nothing. At. All. I just brought my pocket knife and lighter. Ashton brought extra gloves and a candle. Nathan just a piece of paper.
"Get ta work!" Destiny got a bunch of wood and sticks. Valorie was out hunting and gathering stuff with Nathan and Ashton. I tried to light a fire and help around. Destiny just came over and made a fire. Literally. No sticks. Just a warm fire hovering over the ground.
Anyways, I was just hanging by the fire, when a bone rattling shriek came from the forest.
"Elsie! No!" Said a woman's voice.
Valorie turned into a white dragon, and before she flew she roared like she wanted us to hop on. So we did.
When she took flight, a chilling wind came wherever we went to. Down on the forest, a woman with curly blonde hair and a pioneers dress, was standing by a little girl bleeding. We landed by them.
Valorie turned back normal. She ran over to the woman and the girl.
"Felicia," she said." What happened to Elsie?"
Felicia was crying." She-she fended off a vile tiger from me, when all of a sudden, fire came out of her hand. She scared away a tiger, but she was injured." Now she sobbed.
Valorie walked over to a girl only about 7. She had big green eyes and long red hair with a small braid.
She looked like Elsie. When Val got to her, she put her hand over her mouth.
"Elsie." She said, tears welling up in her eyes." You know what will happen to you."
" I know, Song of Valor." She said." I could d-d-die. You need to get me to a healer. Please...." She fainted in Val's arms.
Felicia was running behind us as we followed Valorie to who knows where. When we got to that place, I was astonished.
