Alex POV
I walked to the park in the opposite direction to where I knew the guys house was, I really could not be asked to get taken again. I walked along the trees and made sure to stay away from where I knew the dodgy people were unlike most days where I'd be trying to get in on the action.

Walking at night in the dark was so peaceful, sometimes scary with strangers but beautiful. I put my headphones in and played music loud enough to block out any other noises, which I knew was stupid but I really didn't care. I was only walking in a circuit around the park, about the third time around I felt someone staring at me. I casually took out my phone so I had an excuse to look to see if my arm was still visible, which it was, so I shrugged it off but I turned my music down. By the fifth circuit I had sped up a little bit and after I heard footsteps following behind me, I hid behind a tree. When the footsteps got closer to the tree, I felt my heart thumping hard as I punched out my first which connected to a hard surface, I was guessing a face.

I looked up at the person after realising my eyes were closed. There stood my brother who had his arms crossed with a smirk on his smug face. A took a few deep breaths before ripping my earphones out and having a go at him. "Don't scare me like that! I almost had a heart attack!" To which he replied, "I'm not the one punching people in the chest and hiding in trees." Damn, that was his chest? I think I almost broke my knuckles on them. "Well I'm not the one stalking people in the dark", I had to win this argument, he had followed ME. "I'm not the one who's grounded." Dammit! "Okay, you win..." I put my hands out as if he was a police officer and he scoffed before slapping my arms down. "What are you doing out here Alex? Mum would have a fit if she knew what you were up to again." Now it was my turn to scoff, last time I was grounded because I got into a fight with a small girl over Rapunzels' hair, if it was better before or after it was cut. I ended up making her cry and was grounded for a month. (I said the long hair was better, sue me, you know it's true.)

"How is this anything like the last time? Do you see any kids that are talking about fairytales that aren't on crack believing they're in one?" He let out a manly chuckle at my question which made me wish I had less feminine features. He then turned his face to be more serious and said "You attracted the wrong kind of people Alex", as if he needs to tell me, "leaving the house at night is dangerous, you out of anyone should know that with the amount of time you have been injured." Getting kidnapped is quite easy to make an excuse such as a sleepover that lasts a whole weekend where I happen to forgot to pack. However, hiding gun wounds that make me almost cry when I move and broken bones that Make me end up in a cast are not so easy to excuse.

Instead of trying to defend myself I keep my head down and wait for him to leave so I can do another five circuits before going home but he doesn't. "I know what you're doing Alex, you don't need to lose any weight, I barely saw you eat today, have you eaten?" I nodded while still looking at my scuffed shoes, wanting to be as far away from this conversation as possible. He let out a sigh before bending down to see my face. "Lets go home, okay? I won't tell mum this time and you got to do some circuits, so it's a win/win for you. "Okay Noah." I let him hold my hand as we walked back home. Although I'm not close with my family, me and my brother have these moment where we are not at each other's throats and I realise, I'm glad he's my brother.

This one was a little bit shorter because I thought it was a good place to end it because I love a good brotherly bond. :)
