They had gotten back to the house around 1:00, and Naruto finally let go of Sasuke's arm. Mainly due to Karin, who pulled him off out of jealousy and so she could get him situated on the couch. Suigetsu and Juugo followed Sasuke into the kitchen so they could talk privately. Suigetsu hopped on the counter and began to sharpen his executioner's blade. The room was silent other than the scraping sounds from the sword. Sasuke took that as an invitation to start talking. "The lady at the warehouse pointed East" Sasuke paused as his glare sharpened. "The direction of Konoha..."
"Woah woah Sasuke, this could just be a coincidence! I mean, for all we know she could have been pointing at the door! Like- of COURSE he went out the door!!"
"Even if it's just a small chance Suigetsu we ARE going to check it out. We can't afford to miss any opportunities." Just as he finished explaining Karin walked back through the doorway.
"Naruto's asleep thank god" the room went silent again at the mention of Naruto. Until Karin brought up what they were all thinking. "Umm....what do you think happened.."
"I HATE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO BUT-" Juugo interrupted the white haired male.
"Suigetsu, not now"
"No I'm serious! I TOLD him this was a bad idea!"
He was cut off again "Naruto wasn't like that at all with me. Not before we got to the warehouse" Karin continued after him. "Sasuke's right, something about the bodies or the mention of the akatsuki made him freak out..."
"He's not telling us something.." Sasuke concludes out loud. "I'll confront him tomorrow. Let him rest"

The next morning was relatively quiet. Juugo was reading a book and Suigetsu and Karin weren't fighting for once. But not because they were nice all the sudden. The three were simply waiting to see what Sasuke would do. Naruto took notice of this and looked up from his ramen that they had given him to make the blonde be quiet. "What are you all looking at?" As he said that, the guest room door opened to reveal Sasuke, who had switched from his white open shirt to a darker one.

"Naruto, can I talk to you for a second." It came out more like a demand than a question. But the kitsune slowly made his way into the room, doing his best to ignore the three stares behind him.
"Ok..." hundreds of possibilities flashed in Naruto's mind. What if they found out what he was? What if they hated him? What if they kicked him out?
Once they were both inside Sasuke motioned to the bed and closed the door behind him. Naruto sat on the bed with Sasuke sitting next to him soon after. There was silence for a while before the raven finally said "Why were you so freaked out last night?"
