The group had arrived back at the small house and went to bed like normal. Sasuke reassures then that he would tell them what he found out the next morning.

It was 5:00 in the morning now. The sun was just starting to rise giving the sky and land around it a fiery glow. The light reached the cottage that currently held the team of five. 3 of which were still asleep. Making the house seem a lot more peaceful than it actually was.
Naruto had crept into Sasuke's room since he couldn't sleep and was scared for a second when he saw that the other was no longer there. But quickly calmed down upon seeing him standing on the small porch attached to his room. Naruto walked up until he was right behind and asked "can't sleep?"

"What are you doing here"

"Just wanted to make sure your ok?" Naruto sounded unsure of himself and Sasuke chuckled. "Ya know, you should laugh more often." Naruto smiles and was now right next the raven. Who made no move to push him away.

"Yeah. I probably should..." Sasuke seemed saddened by this. A detail in which Naruto didn't fail to notice..

"Why don't you?..." he seemed curious. And Sasuke supposed he deserved to know.

"My brother. He's part of the akatsuki. He killed my family too. And left me." Sasuke's onyx eyes were dull and full of hatred. But Naruto could see a hint of sadness in them and placed a hand on the others which was resting on the ledge of the porch.

"I'll help you get him." The kitsune offered a toothy smile "he won't even be ready for us 'ttebayo!!" Sasuke couldn't help but smile. If only it was that easy. But he had to admit, talking to Naruto was a lot easier than other people. And something about him made Sasuke feel happy.

"Yeah...we'll get everyone up in a bit. Then we can head out."

The blonde nodded his head and slapped Sasuke's back before heading out of the guest room to do who knows what.

Later that morning, everyone sat around a low table and ate breakfast together for once. They all had something different. Sasuke stuck with rice, as did Juugo. Naruto has instant ramen despite karin's warnings that he was actually gonna die if he kept it up. And Suigetsu was eating some sushi. There was a comfortable silence among the table. Save for the scraping of their chopsticks on the bowls.
Eventually they finished and got their stuff together as they had done yesterday. And Suigetsu finally asked "ya know sasuke, I know we follow you around blindly a lot. But you mind telling us exactly where the fuck were going? Cause you kinda left out that little detail."

"I talked to some people on their way from the leaf village. They claim to have seen itachi headed to the anbu headquarters. So if we head there and see bodies, we'll at least get a trail. If not, we can still ask around. But we'll have to break in."

"Umm...I think I should mention that Konoha is my home.." Naruto laughed nervously and played with his hands. "I grew up there I mean..."

"Then how the hell did you get to that auction?" Sasuke raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow. There seemed to be more to the story than the blonde fox let on.

"They umm....they sold me.."

"What?....." This seemed to get everyone else's attention as well. And Suigetsus voice broke the silence.

"Figures, people will do anything for money."

Naruto nodded sadly. As if this was something he had learned recently. It made Sasuke want to find whoever did that to him and chidori them in the face. 'Why would someone do that to the dobe? Sure he's annoying but he's also kind, caring and determined as hell. No one on their right mind would give up such a great person... I'll have to ask him more about it later' Sasuke thought. "Good thing we're going to kill a whole bunch of the people who did that to you." They could hear the arrogance in his voice.
