Side mission

Sasuke carried Naruto over to the bed in the guest room and placed him under the covers.
Suigetsu came in a few minutes later with a towel and a bowl of water and left it in there for him. Sasuke took one of the towels and dipped it in the water before folding it and placed it on Naruto's Head. The sick boy on the bed chuckled weakly, and for a moment Sasuke thought he was hallucinating.
"What is it?"

"Your a big softie aren't you" he still had a small smile on his face, and Sasuke couldn't help but return the gesture.

"Whatever...just....focus on getting better." Sasuke pulled up a chair beside the bed and sat in it.

"Don't tell me what to do..." was the last thing that came out of the blondes mouth before his eyes closed. And Sasuke decided there was no point in staying there now, so he got up and went outside to the others.

"What's the word" Suigetsu questioned.

"He's asleep...for now.."

"What do you think Danzo did?" Juugo said.

"Well, he said he 'tamed' him. But I dunno what the he'll that's supposed to mean." Karin glanced at the door to the room where the blond was staying in with a concerned look. "What do we do if he...ya know...goes crazy again.."

Suigetsu nodded "yeah Sasuke, you should put the safety of your team before some guy you just met." Although it was true Suigetsu also had developed a fondness for the blonde, he would feel way worse if something were to happen to one of them. "I hate to say it. But he's gotta go."

"You don't give the orders around here Suigetsu. I suggest you keep your mouth shut for once" Sasuke replied coldly. "He's as much a member of this team just as you are."
'Plus he probably means more to me than all of you combined'

"But, Sasuke" Karin started. "If his fever gets too high, it's gonna cause permanent brain damage..."

Sasuke was quiet for a long while appearing to be debating something in his mind. But he finally said "Karin, go work on him"

"Yes Sasuke, I'll do my best" she headed into the room immediately as to not disappoint her TRU LOV SASUKE SAMA.

Naruto's condition stayed about the same, but still bad. Karin made sure to check on him during certain time intervals to make sure he wasn't getting worse. When the third day or Naruto being in bed not having woken up came upon them, they were all not in the best mood. Sasuke had barely spoken since the incident. And only talked to Karin about Naruto's condition.
Meanwhile, Karin was now in the room he was staying in and decided to take in the littler details of his sleeping form.
The blonde on the bed looked like shit, to put it lightly. His small frame was shivering despite the blanket over him and the sun pouring in through the window, his face was contorted in discomfort despite being asleep, and his skin was a few shades pailer, glazed over with sweat.
'Poor guy..' he looked pitiful. Karin made her way over to the side of the bed and placed a cool hand over his forehead to check if his temperature rose any. She sighed in relief upon it feeling about the same, but that was still dangerously hot. The redhead grabbed the towel on his head and re-dipped it in the cold water to place it back under the blond bangs. Which were damp with sweat.
'Maybe he's too hot for a blanket.' She concluded, and went to take it off so the fever didn't get any higher. But his eyes shot open to reveal ones that weren't the friendly blue ones that she was used to.
