Chapter 14: Prank War~

Fall is just around the corner so Austin and i are out shopping for warmer clothes.
"Im so excited for fall!" I say to Austin.
"Really? I would have never known because its not like you've said it fifty times!" He says sarcastically.
"Shut up!" I say hitting him.
"Owww! I really need to learn how to keep my mouth shut." He says rubbing his arm.
"You think?!" I say.
"Oh like you aren't sarcastic with me!" He says.
"Well girls get there feelings hurt easier than boys." I say.
"How do you know that?" He says.
I roll my eyes at him.
"Plus you know I'm just kidding." He says.
"Yeah yeah." I say.
"Are you almost done?" He asks.
"Patience." I say.
I end up getting a lot of sweaters, jeans, leggings, tights, and boots.
"Finally. Gosh you take for ever to try things on." Austin says as we are walking out to his car.
"Hey i have to really make sure i like the thing I'm trying on before i get it." I say.
"Of course." He says.
"Whats that supposed to mean?" I ask.
"Nothing." He says getting in the car.
We get home and both go upstairs to put my bags in my room. Austin goes downstairs while i start to put my clothes away. Then i hear Austin scream.
"Austin?!" I say rushing to the top of the stairs.
He's at the bottom on the floor.
i rush down the stairs to him.
"Did you fall down the stairs?" I ask trying not to sound too panicked.
He nods.
"I think i broke my ankle." He says wincing.
"Oh my gosh. I'll call 911." I say getting up.
"Sade wait." He says.
I look back at him.
He pulls me back down to him. Then he smirks.
"Let the prank war begin." He says.
"You...you idiot." I say pushing him and standing up then going to the kitchen.
Austin and i have a prank war every september, for the whole month. Whoever does the most pranks at the end of the month wins. And today is the first day of September.
"Sade come on. You new it was prank month." He says.
I don't answer and just look for something to eat in the fridge.
"Sade." He says grabbing my hand and turning me to face him. I take my hand out of his.
"You scared me half to death! If anything happened to you i don't know what i would do!" I yell.
"Im sorry. I didn't mean to scare you that bad. It was just a broken ankle, its not like i was gonna die." He says.
I brush past him and head to my room.
"Sade." He says coming after me.
We both get to my room and Austin turns me to him.
"Im really sorry. That prank was a little overboard. I promise no more pranks like that. That one wont count, so its still 0 to 0." He says.
"Okay. I forgive you." I say.
He smiles and run his hand down my arm and interlocks his fingers with mine.
"Good." He says.
"Now, let the prank war begin." I say with a smirk.

I wake up and look up at Austin, he's still asleep. Perfect. I carefully slip out of his grasp and go to the bathroom. Austin will most likely take a shower today so my prank should work. I grab a bag of green jolly ranchers and melt them. Then i take the shower head off and pour the green melted jolly rancher in it and put the shower head back on. Then i go back to the room and snuggle back up with Austin.
"Where did you go?" He asks.
"Bathroom." I say.
"Alright well im gonna go take a shower." He says then kisses the top of my head.
He leaves the room. I give it a few minutes. He should be finding out in 3...2...1
"Sadie!" I hear him yell. I smirk.
He comes in the room with a towel around his waist and green all in his hair. I try not to laugh.
"Dont even." He says.
I cover my mouth.
"Sadie one. Austin zero." I say with a smirk.
Then i laugh at the green in his hair.
"Haha. Very funny. Just watch, I'm gonna get you good." He says.
"Yeah okay." I say sarcastically.
He eyes me as he walks out of the room. He puts two fingers near his eyes and then points them at me as if saying "im watching you."
"Im not scared of you Austin." I say.
"Not yet." He says then disappears.
I roll my eyes. He's such a nerd.

I turn the radio up and Austin and i just started dancing around the house. He twirls me out and back into him where we are really close together.
"Hi." I say.
He smiles.
"Hi." He says back.
Then he leans in and kisses me. Somehow we end up on the couch, Austin over me. Then the doorbell rings. Austin continues to kiss me.
"Austin i have to get that." I say.
He sighs.
"Fine. If you have to." He says then leans down and kisses me again.
I smile into the kiss then he pulls away and gets up. I go to the door and open it.
"Hi." He says.
I look down.
"What are you doing here Logan?" I ask.
"Is Austin here?" He asks.
"Yes." I say.
"I need to talk to you, out here, alone." He says.
"No." I say.
"Please." He says.
His eyes tell me its something important. I look back to see if Austin is watching at all then i go out on the porch and close the door behind me. I look at Logan, waiting for him to start talking.
"Im sorry. I was a real jerk to you and Austin. I was stupid and i should never have hurt you. I don't know what got into me. Im just- I'm in love with you. And i know your dating Austin, and i know that your happy, and thats all i want. Your not interested in me anyways and i cant live my life trying to get you back, i have to move on no matter how much it hurts. So i'll leave you alone. And I'm really sorry, for everything." He says.
"Okay...You said it, now leave." I say.
He nods.
"Bye Sadie." He says.
He gets in his car and leaves. I let out a breath that i didn't know i was holding. I cant forgive him after all he's done and he knows that. I go back inside and lean against the door. Austin comes around the corner.
"You okay?" He asks coming up to me.
I give him a fake smile.
"Yeah." I say.
He steps closer and puts his hand on my cheek.
"You sure?" He asks.
I kiss him.
"Im sure." I say.
