Chapter 21: Young Love~

Austin and i pack our bags into his car.
"I don't want to leave." I tell Austin.
He comes over to me.
"I know me either, but we have a party tonight at our place to get ready for." He says.
"Why are we having a party?" I ask.
"Just because." He says.
I sigh.
"Fine." I say.
"Sade, i brought you here to get your mind off things but you know you can tell me anything." He says.
I stay silent for a minute.
"We need to go." I say then get in the car.
Most of the car ride is silent.
"Sade-" Austin starts.
"Don't." I say.
I hear him sigh. Then all of a sudden he pulls off to the side of the road. He unbuckles his seatbelt so i unbuckle mine.
"Austin what are you-"
He cups my face in his hands then kisses me before i can say anything else. Somehow i end kissing him on the drivers side of the car.
"Ummm..should we be doing this in the front of the car? Theres like no space up here and people can probably see us." I point out.
"Your right, want to go to the back?"
I nod. So we both climb in to the back. Austin looks at me and smiles then tucks a piece of hair behind my ear. He leans back in and kisses me again. I lean back against the door, almost laying down. We just continue to kiss.
"Austin?" I ask, stopping him.
"Hmm?"
"Are you doing this to get something out of me?"
He looks away for a minute then looks back at me.
"Sade, why would i do that?" He asks.
I shrug.
"I just thought-"
"Im not going to make you tell me anything if you don't want to, but i thought we could tell each other anything." He says.
"We can." I say.
"Are you sure? Because it doesn't seems like it right now." He says then he gets out of the car and back in the drivers seat.
I close my eyes and sigh then get back into the passenger seat.
We get back to the house pretty quick. Im about to get my bag out of the car,
"I got it babe." Austin says grabbing it for me.
I can tell he's a little upset but he doesn't want to show it.
"Thanks."
"Ayyyye there back!" Robert says coming out front along with Zach and Alex.
"Hey guys." I say as Austin and i go inside with them.
"Hey! You guys are back! Austin you said you would be back at eleven, its twelve." Mama says coming up to us.
"Yeah we got a little sidetracked." Austin says.
Mama raises and eyebrow at us.
"We had to stop and get gas." I lie.
Then i look at Austin.
"Yeah and it took a little bit to find a gas station." He adds.
"Okay, well did you have fun?" She asks.
"Yes, it was very relaxing. Thank you for letting us do that Mama." I say.
"Your welcome. Now we better start getting the house set up for the party." Mama says.
"Right." I say.
So Austin and i set our stuff down in our rooms and then start helping set up for the party. After an hour of setting things up we are done. The doorbell rings. Paige is the first to arrive and after a bit everyone is here. Everyone includes, Paige, Marisa, Taylor, Austin's manager Mike, Austin, me, Alex, Zach, Robert, the Fifth Harmony girls, Shawn Mendez, Becky G, The Vamps, and a few other random people. Austin has music blasting.
"Sadie." I hear someone say.
I turn to see Shawn.
"Oh hey Shawn!" I say hugging him.
"Its been a while." He says.
"Yeah. How have you been? Getting more famous?" I ask with a smile.
"Yup. Just released a new single." He says.
"Oh cool, whats it called?" I ask.
"Something Big."
"Well i'll have to check it out."
He smiles.
"Im going to go talk to Becky." He says.
I give hime a thumbs up. Then i see Fifth Harmony coming towards me. I run up and hug Camila first. Then the rest of them.
"Ive missed you guys!" I say.
"We've missed you too, we haven't seen you since you left the tour. How was Texas?" She asks.
"Ummm it was not good." I say.
"Really? How come? What happened?" Camila asks.
"Stuff id rather not talk about.."
"Aww well at least your back here now." Dinah says.
I nod.
As I'm greeting people I'm trying to put a smile on but i just cant, and i can tell Austin is trying to put on a smile too. He's upset at me. I take a deep breath then go over to him. He'a talking to Bradley from The Vamps.
"Hey." He says putting his arm around my waist and pulling me closer.
"Hi, can i talk to you?" I ask.
"Right now?" He asks.
I nod.
"Yeah sure. Excuse us." He says to Bradley.
"No problem."
I take Austin's hand and go into the hall.
"I know your upset, and your faking a smile." I say.
"Dont worry about it Sade, I'm fine. Really." He says.
He starts to leave but i grab his hand and pull him back to me.
"I know now is not the best time to be talking to you about this but we're both not going to enjoy ourselves until i get it out." I say.
"Your going to tell me whats wrong?" He asks.
I nod.
"Look, Austin i am beyond proud of where your at right now, your fame is growing and its amazing. But as your fan base grows and you grow in your career as a singer your going to have to travel a lot and stuff and as much as i would love to do all of that with you i have to have my own life. I have to get a job, i have to go back to my dad at some point and then go to collage. But the thing is i cant stand the fact of not being with you. And lately I've been thinking, and i hate to say this, which is why i wasn't going to tell you, but i feel like your career is going to drive us apart. Your gonna have so many things coming up. I didn't want to tell you because theres no way I'm letting you stop your dream, your going to have to keep going, even though I'm not going to be able to live your dream with you. Im sorry i had to tell you right now."
"Sadie...it hurts me to think we're going to have to leave each other but i cant stop you from doing what you want to do any more than you can stop me from pursuing my dream. And don't you ever think that my career will drive us apart. As much as i love singing, i love you way more and you will always come first. Got it?" He says.
I nod.
"Now, we wont have to worry about being apart for a while so right now lets just worry about having the best relationship possible okay?"
"Okay." I say looking into his eyes.
"Okay." He says with a smile.
I wrap my arms around his neck and smile.
"Thank you for telling me." He says.
"Hey, we can tell each other anything, remember?" I say.
He chuckles a bit.
"You mean everything to me Sade, don't ever forget that."
I nod. He places his hands on my waist and pulls me closer. I giggle. He slowly leans down. When our lips meet its not like all the other times we've kissed. Its more passionate, it actually means something. Its like a promise, that we'll always care about each other.
"Aww young love." I hear Marisa say.
Then i she pulls me away from Austin.
"Excuse you." I say.
"Theres some people here that asked to see you." She says.
I turn to look at Austin. He just shrugs.
I follow Marisa and soon see who its is that wants to see me.
"Dad!" I say.
I run up and hug him.
"Hey sweetie." He says.
I pull away, Heather is standing next to him.
"Hi Heather." I say, also hugging her.
"Hi Sadie." She says.
"What are ya'll doing here?" I ask.
"We came to visit." Dad says.
"How long?" I ask.
"Two weeks." He says.
"Thats great!"
"John! Hi!" Mama says coming up to us.
"Hi Michele." He says hugging her, "this is my new wife, Heather, Heather this is Sadie's boyfriend's mom and also one of my good friends Michele." Dad introduces.
They shake hands.
"Hi Heather its nice to meet you. And congratulations, both of you." She says.
"Thank you." Heather says.
Then Austin comes up.
"Heather, you remember Austin right?" I ask.
"Of course. Its nice to see you again." She says shaking his hand.
"Its nice to see you again too."
"Now i don't know if Sadie told you this bus Austin and Sadie have been friends since they were two years old." Dad tells Heather.
"Dad!" I say.
"What?"
I roll my eyes and smile.
"Here let us have your stuff." Austin says.
Austin and i take Dad and Heather's bags and bring them upstairs to the guest room.
"What are they doing here?" Austin asks.
"Dad says they just wanted to come and visit." I say.
He nods.
"Soo.." He says grabbing my hand and pulling me to him, "i believe we were in the middle of something." He says then starts to lean in.
"We should get back to the party." I say, stopping him.
He rolls his eyes.
"Your no fun."
"Yeah i know." I say then pat his chest and go out of the room.
I get downstairs and start mingling with people again and introducing my dad to people.
I see Alex and Paige making out on the couch.
I feel an arm slip around my waist
"How the heck are they getting away with that?" I ask Austin, pointing to Alex and Paige.
"Because they haven't been together as long as you and i have." He says.
"I told him that if Paige was here they would be all over each other." I say.
"And you care about this because..." He says.
"I don't know! Because they get to kiss and we-"
"Dont." He finishes.
"Yeah.."
"Sadie your making a big deal out of nothing." He says.
He goes to the kitchen and I follow him to the kitchen.
"Whatever." I say.
"Your getting fruit not a cupcake right?" He asks.
"Yes." I say flatly.
I so regret telling him to help me eat healthy.
"Good girl." He says.
I grab a plate and put different fruits on it, then Austin and go to sit on the couch.
Alex and Paige aren't making out anymore.
"Oh look who decided to take a breather." I say.
"Sadie, i swear." Alex says.
I laugh. I love getting on his nerves.
"Paige please forgive me, i joke around a lot. Usually its to mess with Alex." I say.
"No your fine. Its entertaining." She says.
"Your agreeing with her?!" Alex exclaims.
"Ha!" I tease Alex.
"You better watch your back." He says.
"Are you threatening me?"
"Yes, yes i am."
I roll my eyes. Then i look at Austin, he's eating a cupcake.
"Enjoying that cupcake?" I ask.
"I am." He says eating the cupcake, obviously trying to rub it in my face.
I put the cupcake to his face and the icing gets on his face.
"Oops." I say with a devious smile.
He looks at me and i laugh. Then he takes some icing off his cupcake and wipes it on my face. I gasp.
"Serves you right." Alex says.
I grab some grapes from my plate and throw it at him.
"FOOD FIGHT!!" Alex yells.
All of a sudden food is being thrown everywhere. Things are getting in my hair, on my face and clothes.
But we all just have fun with it. I crawl somewhere else then stand up and start throwing food again.
"Sadie." I hear Alex say.
I turn to him and he puts a pie is in my face. I gasp then i wipe the pie off of my eyes.
"Heyyyyyyyy!" I hear Mama scream. We all freeze.
"Everyone who doesn't live here get out now!" Mike says.
Everyone quickly leaves. Then its just the boys and i.
"You five come here." Mama says.
All the adults, including Mama, Dad, Heather, and Mike are in a line starring at us.
"We leave for five minutes to a different room and you guys start a food fight? Really?" Mama says.
"Its Sadie's fault." Alex says.
"My fault?! Your the one who yelled food fight!" I say.
"Well you through grapes at me!"
"Well you commented on Austin putting icing on my face." I say.
We bicker back and fourth.
"Thats enough!" Dad yells.
Alex and i stop and look at the adults.
"We don't care how long it takes, ya'll are cleaning up every single bit of this mess." Mama says.
The parents go to their rooms and Mike leaves.
"This is your fault." Alex says.
"Shut up Alex!" I yell.
I grab a dish towel and wipe my face off.
"You look hott." Austin says picking out a piece of lettuce out of my hair. I glare at him.
We all start to clean up the mess. Two hours later the place is completely back to normal.
"Alright I'm out." I say.
I go upstairs, take a shower and get ready for bed. As I'm about to get in bed someone knocks on my door. I go and open it.
"Just wanted to tell you goodnight." My dad says.
I smile.
"Night Dad." I say hugging him, "I'm glad you here."
