Alone time

(Sonic's POV)

I looked at Silver thinking over what he just offered me and sighed "Are you sure? I'm sure Amy's guards can handle her safety." I say and cross my arms leaning back in my seat.

He nodded "I've been the head of your security for years and Blaze is Amy's head of security. If I can work with her and help protect Amy in her time of need then it'll put your mind more at ease."

I nodded slowly and rubbed my forehead considering this. On one hand I'd lose one of my strongest men for her, but on the other it would be better for her overall.

As I thought about it he said one more thing "I know Shadow is against helping Amy, but he wouldn't be against taking my spot of a bit till we sort out Amy's problem."

That sealed it. I stood up and walked over to him "Alright, but if anything does end up happening to Amy it will be on yours and Blaze's hands." I say and he nods happy that I agreed with him. With that he excused himself and left me alone with relief knowing Amy was in good hands. I finished up some work and after a few hours decided it was best to go to bed at this point.

(Amy's POV)

I yawned softly and started heading to my room with a quick pace. It took me a while to fill out all that paper work and give new assignments to all my workers, but in the end I was happy with the amount of work I did. I was tired now and really just wanted to relax and sleep.

The thought of how comfortable the bed was and how warm the blankets were made my eyes feels heavy with sleep.

As I walked I thought back to when me and Sonic kissed deeply on the stage in front of Silver. The kiss sent soft shivers down my spine. Like a gentle shock that woke me up a bit. A bright blush rose upon my cheeks and I bit my lip. I hope Sonic is in bed now, then I could cuddle up to him and maybe continue our kiss from before.

I soon saw the door to the room and my pace quickened in hopes of finding Sonic waiting for me in the bed.

I open the door and was greeted with a neat bed and no Sonic. I poured and my shoulders dropped all hope of him being there leaving my body.

I sighed and closed the door behind me. I took off my jacket and tosed it in a chair by a small vanity in the corner of the room. I then checked a suit case brought in by some of the girls from my house after the "incident". I grabbed myself some clothes to change into and decided a warm shower before bed would give me a stress free sleep.

I left the room and went into the bathroom connected to the bedroom. I took off all of my clothes and hopped into the shower. I turned on the water and waited it to heat up before getting under the shower head.

I smiled and sighed a sigh of happiness. Maybe Sonic wasn't in the room, but at least I was able to have a nice shower. After washing my hair I went to wash my body before hearing the bathroom door open. I froze and quickly checked who it was.

I blushed deeply when I saw it was Sonic who was smiling over at me "Sorry didn't mean to startle you. I heard the shower and decided I needed one too." He smirked and I felt my face turn completely red.

Sonic started to get undressed and I quickly hid back behind the curtains. I wasn't opposed to us showering together. I was just a bit nervous to do it. I trust him and was fine with sex because I of course wouldn't be my first but I was worried he wouldn't like what he saw or enjoy it with me.
