The Training

I took the book with me to further inspect it later, then headed back to the training ground along with Eve, she seemed excited about it, but I guess now that she has the help of her mother, she'd be thrilled to know what kind of power she has. We arrived there and Eve became even more excited, she started speaking about how beautiful nature is and how lovely the animals are, and how she appreciates everything that her mother created, a cockroach passed and she stepped on it without changing her cheerful face... I guess a demon made the cockroaches... I took a rabbit and cursed it like I did last time, Eve didn't even react to the curse, she calmly got close to it, the rabbit didn't move, was it scared? Was it feeling calm? Is my curse getting weaker? All these questions crossed my head as I was watching, yet I had no clue what's happening, so I started watching using the eye of the devil, and as I expected, her mother is talking to her in her head and telling her what to do and what not to do, but then as I was looking, I saw a figure of an angel behinf Eve, watching her, and talking to her, I couldn't understand angelic language, but I'm pretty sure that this figure is not interfering with the training and is just giving Eve some tips, the figure finally said something and pointed at the rabbit, then pot it's arm back to Eve's shoulders, I looked at Eve and she was pointing at the head of the rabbit, as she did, I saw the dark energy I had planted in the rabbit leave its body and finally gathering as an energy ball on Eve's finger tip, but what really made me laugh was the surprised look on both Eve and the figure's face, then Eve ran to me happily as she was holding the energy, she hugged me and told me that it worked, I patted her head and told her she did a great job, she told me to take back my energy before it vanishes from existence, so I quickly did, "but what on Earth did you do?!" I asked
-" Nothing much, I just used a weak spell to remove the curse from the rabbit" she explained
-" So, that means my spells are getting weaker..." I said
- She laughed and said "No you silly, your curse is stronger than last time, but the spell I used works best when the creature I'm using it on is an animal, and it works perfectly on weak and innocent animals, because it only works when the creature is really relaxed, so in fact I used two spells, the first one made him see me as my mother (their goddess) which was a really really really tough spell, then I used the weak spell"
I was chocked, is this the same weak angel I was looking at few days ago? Eve really did become stronger by meeting her mother... But her show wasn't enough prove to Fred that she's stronger, so he told me to try my spell on a strong animal who has lots of pride, in other words a lion, so I brought a lion who was already fierce and obliged me to use a command spell to control him, then I cursed him like the rabbit with half my powers, it became angry and more violent, I stepped back and started spectating Eve fighting the lion, the lion started attacking, Eve was dodging it's attacks, I remembered that this was happening last time the rabbit attacked, I became so scared but -like last time- Fred tied me to the bench I focused more with the eye of the devil, and I saw the figure once again, it was just looking at Eve without telling her what to do, Eve was mumbling angelic stuff, I guess she was messing up because she repeated some words many times, a few seconds later, another figure was showing, but this time the figure was a guy, he was getting closer to Eve, but then the angel figure stopped him and they started bickering -I guess this is the demon who was in love with Xernia- the guy figure gave up, but instead of going back where he was, he came and sat next to me, and I could hear him say "angels, huh" he seemed a bit annoyed of what his wife did, but I understand where he's coming from, we demons hate taking orders, then he said "kizaroth, would u mind untying the boy" it was the first time I hear someone call Fred by his real name, Fred told him he didn't want to untie me, so the guy reminded him that he's at half his powers bc of the curse, and so it would be way easier to kill us both if he didn't abide, so Fred did as he said, I got up but the figure held my hand and stopped me, he said that her mother believes in her and we should just stay back, I looked at Eve who was still dodging the lion's attacks, then looked at the demon who seemed as concerned as I was, so I sat down knowing that if shit goes down we're both going to act, I sat and watched, minutes passed by and Eve was already tired, at the end the lion got her and scratched her with his enormously demonic claws, the demon and I both stood up and started charging our powers, but then the angel signed us to sit back, we were both confused, but we looked at Eve who was looking at the lion as the lion looked back at her, Eve started crying, her cries filled up the entire garden and we felt a strange energy coming from it, we looked at the lion, it was looking sad then started crying as well, he then got close to Eve who was still crying and started licking her wound, Eve calmed down and patted him, the lion then got even closer to Eve and rested on her legs, she started playing with his hair and told him "you were a bad cat today, but it's ok I forgive you" the lion started smiling, then Eve removed the curse from him, she threw the energy ball back at me, I caught it and was so surprised, then the demon freaked me out by shouting "HELL YEAH, THAT'S MY GIRL FOR YOU LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" he then continued: "NO MERE CURSED LION WOULD BE A PROBLEM TO HER, I KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO MAKE IT" then he looked at the angel who was giving him the "really?" Face, he was embarrassed that he didn't trust his daughter enough. We both went back to Eve to check on her "We were worried about you!" I said "but you made it, and I'm really proud of you" she looked at me confused then said "I can see you getting worried about me, but was Fred worried as well?" I looked at the demon who was signaling me not to talk about him, it seems that Eve cannot see any of them, so I lied to her telling her that I'm just used to using "we" in my sentences, she believed it. I looked at the lion who was still on Eve's laps and mumbled "you lucky bastard I want to be here" then I heard a fake cough, I knew I was in trouble for saying that sentence, I looked back and the demon was crossing his hands and looking down at me, then he said "I'm still here you know!" I... Well I didn't know how to react, but then quickly his wife came and pulled him by the ear, they started speaking in angelic, I looked at Eve as they were discussing what seemed to be a family matter, then I told her to show me the scar, I looked at the scar and it was bizzare, I was able to see her muscle fibers, I told her we have to go to the nurse (Ruby) so that she can fix it, she told me that it's fine, and that it's a cursed scratch, so she'd doubt any demon could remove a curse, then she whispered a word and her mother came to her, they started talking angelic and Eve then started repeating the angel's words, after they were done, a strong healing beam came down and healed Eve, I was very relieved she became fine, then I felt someone's hand on my shoulder, it was the demon I looked at him and the angel was next to him, he said "You better return her back to the house because she's tired, or else I'll rip you to shreds and make your existence a living h..." he didn't continue because his wife had already slapped him on the head, then he started talking again: "Alex would u be so kind as to take my daughter back to the house, she's had a rough day and the healing spell drained her remaining powers" he finished and the angel seemed happy about it so she patted him, I agreed with him and told them I will, they thanked me, then they left, I went back to Eve and told her we should go back to the house and get some rest, "but what about the lion" she asked, I took it and threw it away, it was already annoying me because it was talking my favorite place, "jealous are we" she looked at me as she was trying to tease me, but she was so tired that she didn't continue, I asked her if she has enough power to walk, she said yes but I was able to see that she was struggling to get up, so I carried her, she looked at me and said that I don't have to, but she slept before she could even finish her sentence, I carried her back to the house and put her on her bed, she was the most gorgeous creature I'd ever seen, I covered her and left the room. It's time to research that demon.
