-Alexa's POV-
I just won my match, the five on five on five, as the sole survivor. While I celebrate, the Riott Squad's theme comes on, and I turn to face them as they advance down the ramp. I suddenly realize something as they surround the ring: They're not out here to congratulate me, and I'm nearly defenseless. I suppose they're angry about not being able to compete in any part of the show, which is understandable. Why me, though? Then I see Liv. She's got the angriest look in her eyes, making it clear what this is about. Him.
And... speak of the devil. Caleb comes out dressed in his Genocide gear, and he's got objects in both hands. One hand holds a second mask, the other holds a metal baseball bat. The Riott Squad turns to him, away from me, and start laughing. However, they stop immediately when he climbs into the ring with me.
Everyone realizes that he's not out here for Liv. He's here for me. Why, after everything, is he still trying to help
"Take these," He says, handing me the bat and the mask, then motioning to the Riott Squad, who's watching in confusion. Liv's previous anger has been replaced by pure fury, and she climbs in the ring and starts attacking him. Caleb hardly flinches.
That's when I attack. First Liv, then Sarah, and I've finally got a hold of Ruby. Caleb stands in place quietly, simply watching as I bring the bat down over their backs. Once I down them all, I get back in the ring and take off my mask. Slowly, he removes his as well. He stares down at me with a blank expression.
"Why would you help me?" I ask, and his expression remains blank. I repeat my question, and he finally shrugs with a grin. Liv sits up against the bottom rope, staring on with a mixture of confusion and anger plastered across her face.
"Bayley made me."
He raises my hand, then we walk backstage together. He gets a lot of surprised looks from the people around, and for obvious reason. He and Liv are publicly dating, as proven by a leaked picture from a month ago. why would he help me and not her? By the way, here's how the event turned out:
Raw: 4 victories: Caleb Quantum(Main Championship), Women(5v5v5), Men(5v5v5) Braun Strowman(Non-Title Dispute)
Smackdown: 1 victory: New Day (Tag Championships)
NXT: 2 victories: Keith Lee (Minor Championship) Rhea Ripley(Women's Championship)
