-Seth's POV-
"Are ya outta your fucking mind?" Becky yells after taking us all into the men's locker room. Well, she didn't drag me in there but I went along anyways. She needs someone to calm her down, even if just a little.
"Becks, we didn't say yes-" Caleb starts, but then Finn says something that shocks us all. Innocent, loyal Finn who'd do anything for his friends, says the unthinkable.
"I said yes."
We just stare. Even Finn just stares off into space, sadness in his eyes. How could Finn do that to us? We're his friends, the people who'd take a bullet for him, and he's just gonna abandon us?
"Why?" is the only thing Becky manages to say. Becky, who'd been screaming at him a second earlier for this same thing, was now speechless. I guess she just heard that he was considering it or something.
"I love you guys, but my life is my own. I'm sick of this company, and I'm ready for something new. Matt called me directly and asked if I wanted to come to AEW, said he'd give me some freedom with my new character. He bought the Bullet Club, which is also why he called Karl and AJ. He also bought Prince Devitt."
It's my turn to speak. I've been silent this whole time, but it's time for the outside opinion.
"Finn, I trust you. Whatever you want to do is entirely up to you, and if you want to go to AEW, have at it. At the end of the day, we're still best buds."
Caleb speaks up now, "Cody tried to buy my contract from Stephanie, who told him she'd ask me first. He said I could have an extra million a year and a AEW Championship opportunity fairly quickly. I said I'd think about it."
Becky just sits down and starts sobbing. AEW's tearing us apart, and they haven't even started yet. I stand tall.
"Guys, it's clear what we gotta do," I say.
"What? What can we possibly do against Cody and the Young Bucks?" Caleb says, crossing his arms. He looks into my eyes, and immediately understands.
"No. You're crazy."
"I'm not crazy. I'm The Man!"
"I'M STILL THE MAN YA FUCK!"
"We're gonna burn it down."
