"I once ran a business that didn't do so good, but it gave me the title for this book and I'm eternally grateful, that business failure led me to where I am today, writing this book."
As long as I can remember, I've always wanted to showcase my skills in some way so that people who know me years from now will see that even from my wheelchair, I can accomplish even greater tasks than just going to fetch the ball or running myself into walls for enjoyment.
I had once been asked by my Youth Group to make a dish for an upcoming fun night youth event and I grappled between making either pigs in a blanket or a pasta dish, I went with the pigs in a blanket for the event but made the pasta for lunch the next day.
I remembered each ingredient for each recipe so I wrote them and kept them, as the months grew on, I built up a list of recipes, and with collaborations from several of my friends and family I had enough recipes to create a cookbook to showcase my talent.
On December 7th, 2017, I launched "To Die For" Cookbooks, a cookbooks creation company, creating culinary blessings through Christ's Love.
I shut down "To Die For" in June 2018 when I began my career as a YouTube content creator for a disability channel.
To this day, I don't know how I keep up with my other projects, it's only through Christ I am able to gather the strength to keep up with daily tasks such as running my YouTube channel, 2 Facebook pages, being an author and managing my book sales and royalties.
I guess this chapter is more of a reminder to always remember that you can do ALL things through Christ our Savior.
But I'll talk more about my faith in another chapter.
The end to this chapter is that since the day I was first asked to make something, I've never said no. I always try to come up with better creations or update older ones.
That method not only works with cooking, but with creating videos, writing books, and other ideas I may come up with. So for you, the readers of this book, always remember to keep your head held high, smile and thank God for every blessing you receive.
