On the verge of death, my ass?! "Are you sane of what you're saying, Atsushi-kun?"
His eyebrows arching upwards giving me a happy-worried expression. "What you don't know is-" He was stopped midway by the door opening revealing an Akiko standing... by the... d-door.
What the hell is that?! What I saw was actually a bloody Akiko stepping out of a crime scene. Her white chemise was now tainted with a crimsin red colour. The floor and walls were painted with splatters of the same crimson colours. It was the ferrous odour which mad eme realize that... It was pure blood. "What the...." I was shocked to the point where I couldn't control the flow of my thoughts anymore.
"K-Kunikida-san..." Atsushi stuttered with his face fully painted with anxiety and sweat.
"Y-yes. I'm here..." replied Doppo from the other side of the room as he clutchdd the chair by the back to use it for balancing himself as he stood up from.... a pool of blood?!
He.is.alive...
"AHAHAHAH! I bet you're surprised, newcomer!" Said Yosano while chuckling. "You'll get used to this soon." She winked at me before turning away giving me her back and starting to walk as if nothing had happened. I let out a sigh of relief before Akiko stopped midway turning her head to my direction and flashing an sinister grin as he eyes narrowed towards me. For a moment, I felt something stabbing me in the gut. "I hope you're not clumsy enough to get injured or else I'll have to fix you too!" She stated before her grin became wider. She continued walking through the corridor while laughing hysterically.
"Fix me?" I asked myself. That woman is not just a maniac while acting, it is just her natural personality. Identity confirmed. Once again, I sighed reminded of the imaginary pain I just felt. Who is the villain, me or her?
"Actually," I saw a half-living Kunikida standing by the door, "She is a really kind person, but a really short-tempered one."
"Look who's talking" I heard the golden-eyed boy muttering.
"So piss her off, and you're screwed." Continued Doppo.
Kind and short-tempered? Speaking of normal Japanese, isn't this a contradiction in terms? "But Kunikida-san, what just happened?" I couldn't die anymore but to ask. The weirder think is that his clothes aren't wet with blood compared to the blood on the floor he stood up from.
"Yosano Akiko, her ability's name is 'Thou Shalt Not Die' and you might freak out hearing that, but it allows her to heal all body injuries, even return the person about to die to his lively self again." Explained Kunikida pushing his glasses back up the bridge of his nose with his middle finger.
"All under one condition." Stated Nakajima.
"What is that?" I asked. There could be no better ability one could ask for. She is really gifted and lucky.
"For the person to be healed, should be half-dead." Said Nakajima nonchalantly slapping his forehead.
"Half-dead? But Kunikida-san San was perfectly fine, so how is tha-" wait, wait a minute! The word half-dead means that he should be on the verge of death, right?! I peeked at the splatters of blood all over the ground behind the blond man before being struck by the hard-core thought...
"OH.MY.GOD! T- THAT MEANS-" I yelled in shock before Atsushi's hand slap-shut my mouth before I could continue saying 'it.' Well, forget about the 'lucky' part here, ISN'T THIS PRACTICALLY MURDER?!
"She is still a nice and a brave person though, Wataya-san. It's just-"
"WHAT TYPE OF BRAVERY IS THAT?!" I shouted interrupting the young boy.
