A/N: I'm only kinda dead lol, anyways here we are

"You're lying."

OoO Michael could only shake his head for what felt like the six-hundredth time that day.

FTO Mitch paced back and forth in front of him, glaring at the floor as if it were responsible. Michael would have made a snippy comment if it weren't for FTO Patrick, standing directly next to him and holding his arm in place. In his other hand, there was a gun against Michael's head. Obviously, there was a very big promise if Michael messed up.

"I'm getting tired of explaining this." Michael sighed, shoulders tensing up as the barrel of the gun pressed closer against his skull. He bit his lip in frustration. Michael hasn't seen a gun in years, most mortal possessions were deemed back at camp, he can confidently say he did not miss this. "My name is Michael. I'm from a different dimension. I come from a place called Camp Oasis."

"That's not... no, that's not possible." Mitch aggravatedly growled, crossing both arms over his chest as he stopped wandering. Michael was halfway thinking up a plan to escape when the pressure on his head suddenly lifted. Michael blinked, glancing towards Patrick.

Except, instead of calculating look he expected before, there was an inquisitive eyebrow raise and a smile. Since when did Patrick have white and purple hair? "Actually, my dear boys!" Since when did Patrick use that accent? "This kid is telling the truth!"

Michael drew a blank, almost helplessly staring at Mitch. "Uh." He stuttered. How ironic that the child of Athena was at a loss for words.

Mitch, though, seemed even more annoyed. "Hi, Allumos..." He mumbled under his breath.

Patrick - or rather, Allumos - beamed towards Mitch. "Hello Mitchel." Michael felt as if Allumos would have waved if not for the gun still in his hands. Then, Allumos whipped their head towards Michael, while Mitch snapped. "Don't call me that."

"Now, let me have a look at you." Michael nearly got whiplash, the grip on his arm disappearing as Allumos practically shoved his face closer. Michael quietly hissed under his breath, leaning backwards with a grimace.

Allumos soaked Michael in, as if he were under a microscope. "Fascinating indeed. You see, it's entirely possible for people to appear out of portals, take the guild leaders of Divinus Magia for example." Allumos flashed a grin, bright and vaguely unhinged. "What brings you to us, Michael from Camp Oasis."

Michael guessed he could ask questions later, because somehow he felt even more threatened without a gun. The aura from Patrick's body, who Allumos hosted, was powerful. "Um. Honestly? I have no idea. I didn't want to come here, I just am." Michael coughed as he glanced to Mitch. "I met myself, who is your... guild leader I take it? He's been helping me these past few days."

Mitch's frown deepened, on the verge of a scowl. Michael knew better, after all, anger is a secondary emotion to hide other things like sadness and fear. "Why didn't he come to us?"

Michael immediately glanced away, choosing to skillfully avoid the question. "Anyways. Glad that's out of the way. Do you have any idea on how I can get home?" He prioritized getting home, if these people had such strong magical energy then he didn't want to know anyone was outside the building.

Allumos looked excited, Michael got the impression this guy had some issues. "I do! I have reason to believe your world is different then Ritchie and Brandon's world." Michael must have visibly looked confused, because Mitch spared him a little bit of mercy - or maybe that was pity. "Divinus Magia's guild leaders." He clarified.

"They appeared out of a portal, and it never opened again. It was a one way ticket if you will." Allumos squinted, leaning closer once more. "But you..."

Michael shrugged, consciously learning away again. "I came out of a cave so."

Allumos nodded multiple times, eyes becoming dazed and thoughtful. "I believe... we just may be able to help you."

Michael perked up, eyebrows shooting up as his body rejuvenated. Much to his disappointment, Allumos made a chiding noise and lifted a mocking finger up. Michael, for a moment, wanted to bite it off, he was not a little kid. He refused to be patronized. "However, we have our own problems here." The smile was gone, replaced with a seriously chilling expression. "Your situation would take some time, yes, but for a price I may be able to speed things along."

Michael slowly looked towards Mitch, who had remained oddly quiet throughout this exchange. Mitch had no glare, but a hardened face that was difficult to read. Michael reviewed everything he's learned over the past few days, but his mind was already made up. He had no other choice.

Michael turned back to Allumos, and sighed.

"What kind of price?"
