Chapter 4 : Ex-bestfriends
ISABELLA'S POV
The next day went by in a blur .
I'm still receiving the strange stares from strangers, especially after that not so little incident.
Now I kinda sorta feel like the number of students who know me here are far more than the ones who knew me in my previous school , freaking rumours travel fast !
I won't be surprised if they say I am the one who did that stupid act just to gain attention .
I start walking further in the corridor when I accidentally bump into someone ,
"Sorry" I say and then I realise who she is , the same girl who was with Royal yesterday .
" Hey ! No , I'm sorry for what happened yesterday " Jessica says
" Yeah " I reply, but at least she apologized, that's what counts right?
"Actually not ! That was funny and
you deserved it" she giggles and
I realize somewhere along the line she was involved too !
" Did I tell you that I found something which belongs to you?" I say with a stern look
"Um what?"
" Your nose! Which was in my freaking business!" ,
Now I'm the one to give her an evil smirk .
"Bitch please!"
"Bitch peace!" I shout and walk ahead.
I'm trying my best to ignore it all and act as if nothing happened .
At least that's what I planned to do but it all went downhill when I came to know that Royal and me are in the same freaking class !
Just as I sat with Lucy in English ,
Ro entered with his friends in the class .
Yes , 'Ro', that's what I called him since we were friends .
Our friendship was one of those things which was destined to happen in this life and when we were lil kids ,
we found it hard to pronounce our names so we ended up calling each other 'Ro' and 'Izzy' , rest is history !
I knew all too well that I should look away but I continued staring at him till he settled himself at the back of the class .
Seconds passed and his eyes finally met mine .
I was trying to find my lost friend in those deep ones but just as I thought
I actually found him , I heard a voice ,
" Seems like Isabella has a crush on Roy"
Followed by Royal's voice ,
"Keep dreaming Isabella " to which the others chuckled .
I looked down instantly and
Lucy whispered , "You okay ?" and
I nodded slightly .
"Cat got your tongue or what ?" Someone asked and I looked up to see a boy my age , looking as if he came straight from his photoshoot .
Frankly speaking , he wasn't that handsome , just had the perfect body and attire that others may crave for .
