ISABELLA'S POV
The others are busy in their conversations but then I catch their attention as soon as I enter the dining room .
I go and stand next to Riley .
Ro also enters and we avoid eye contact, at least I do .
Who'll even call us bestfriends ,
all we do is argue and annoy the hell out of each other .
"So Isabella , how's your highschool going on?" Grandma asks
I instantly look at Royal , who's already looking at me !
"Quite interesting " , I force out
"Our teenage life was pretty cool too " Ally adds
" Especially Jasmine and Jasons' " Shahid chuckles
Mom actually blushes and Dad just looks at her , adoring her .
When will I find my soulmate ?!
"It's so great for her that she's with Royal , especially in the beginning otherwise the start can be nerve wrecking" Shahid says
I fake a smile , while Ro gulps and Riley notices the looks we exchange thereafter .
" And how are your studies going on ?" Grandma asks
" Quite good " I reply
" And your's Royal?"
"Good" he forces out
" Is that what you call Good Royal?" Uncle Nate questions him
" Actually Royal is doing great when it comes to Maths " , I intervene
I don't even know why I am defending him ...
He mouths , ' Thanks '
"I know Isabella . I saw his last year's report card . He achieved A+ in AP Maths and I'm really proud of him . But I am concerned about rest , where in he barely passed "
