pretend a new school starts after christmas break

You were forcing him to go school supply shopping with you at a local store that sold cute  supplies. He didn't care what it looked like of course, as long as it was functional.

You found a basket of cute charms and picked out one that had a cat on it.

Your eyes sparkled as you showed it to him. "It's so cute!"

"Why would you want such a cheap accessory?"

"Stop insulting it!"

"Throw it in the cart." he shook his head and smiled.

You picked out a few notebooks and pencils, and he found some plain black pens.

You connected the cat chain to your mini backpack.

You started school the next day, so it was really last minute, but you didn't care. You actually spotted a few of your classmates and friends, like Sayaka, Leon, Makoto, and a few more. Apparently everyone was doing last minute shopping.

"Thank you!!" you hugged the backpack.

He just nodded in response.

Time flew quickly, and it was time for the first day of your third year at Hope's Peak.
(surprise, you skipped a year bc i don't want to make this story unbearably boring by explaining 3 years worth of school)

You woke up to the now common sight of Byakuya in your arms. This time unfortunately, you couldn't sleep in. You gently shook him awake.

You sat up and waited for him to get up. You had to admit, he was cute in his flannel pajamas and bed head.

After taking a short cold shower to wake yourself up, you blow dried your hair and got dressed in a black T-shirt, jean jacket, and a skirt and knee high socks.

Without warning, Byakuya opened the door, but thankfully you were dressed.

"Hey! Privacy!" you said.

"O-oh, uh, sorry." he muttered and held a hand up. He closed the door after snapping back to reality for a second.

You opened it back up and pushed him inside. "Just knock first, kay?"

He nodded. He was clearly not a morning person.

While he was getting dressed, you fixed a pot of coffee.

While it was brewing, you packed your back pack with the three notebooks and pencils. You probably wouldn't really need them, but better to be safe than sorry.

You were looking forward to getting to see your friends, even if you had seen them a week ago.

You walked back to the kitchen and found him sipping on the coffee you had made, which was still hot enough to burn your mouth, but who needs taste buds I guess.

You two had decided to walk to school, and it was about 20 minutes until it started.

You walked out the door, not realizing you didn't eat breakfast, and headed down the street to Hope's Peak.

Once you finally reached the classroom, you sat in a desk beside him while the new teacher, Seiko Kimura, introduced herself to the few students in the classroom. She seemed nice enough.

Once school started, in an hour, you had gym. You actually kind of enjoyed it. You mainly ever played either dodgeball or volleyball, so you wondered what the school year would open up with.

After telling each other what you did over break, you just doodled, ignoring what ever anyone else had to say besides your friends.

The bell rang, signalling the class to go to PE.

Some were excited, some were mumbling in anger, some didn't care.

You stuffed your notebooks back into your backpack and walked with Byakuya, Aoi, and Sayaka to PE.

You walked in to find a cart holding volleyballs, and a net set up in the middle.

The teacher stood up from the bleachers and introduced himself.

"Hajime Hinata." he gave a gentle wave.
(pretend he's not in high school pretty please)

"We're going to be doing volleyball today. I'd like you all to start by grabbing a volleyball and serving it over the net." he gestured to the cart of volleyballs.

Once everyone had grabbed one, the boys split up on one side of the court and the girls the other.

Once Aoi served it over the net, that was good enough signal for everyone else to start. Volleyballs were flying over the net, and before you could hit yours, one flew at your face. And before you could dodge it, it hit your face head on, with lots of force.

You stumbled to the ground, feeling blood coming out of your nose. You felt your vision going in and out, but forced yourself to stay awake. You scooted until you were against a wall and heard faint voices.

"get her to the nurses office!"

"it wasn't my fault!"

"well it wasn't mine either!"

"stop arguing! someone get her to the nurses office!"

You saw a faint vision of red yelling at a blob of brown spikes.

leon and yasuhiro?

You felt yourself being lifted up and carried out of the gymnasium.

You saw black before resting your head on the persons shoulder. You could deal with the embarrassment later. You just wanted to be comforted by the nice, black darkness, where you would feel no more pain...

You woke up on a bed, head throbbing.

You heard a voice muttering to himself. " Of course it was me."

Your eyes fluttered open. "B-Byakuya?"

He jumped. "You're awake. I-i'm so sorry." he looked down. "It was me that hit you."

You scoffed. "You're so skilled."

He gave you an annoyed look.

"Do I..have a concussion?"

"I don't believe so. You're probably going to have to take some pain meds. Maybe."

You nodded.

"I need to make it up to you somehow, I did... y'know, knock you out. How about.. I take you to a restaurant?"

You smiled. "Sounds nice."

He smiled. "Good."

He leaned down from the chair he was sitting in and kissed you on the forehead.

You blushed.

"Go back to sleep, you'll need it."

You nodded and curled up in a ball closer to him.
