This chapter is a big boy chapter like wow

You had just finished your graduation ceremony, and were planning to head back home very soon so you could see everyone again.

You had majored in (favorite subject/hobby) and would hopefully take up a job in it soon.

Your flight was today, and what you didn't know is that everyone besides Kyoko had gone home earlier than you and were planning a surprise party.

Byakuya and Aoi were helping put (f/c) balloons everywhere, and Hajime was helping Nagito cook.

Chihiro was setting up the tables, putting tablecloths on the tables and pouring the drinks into big dispensers.

Sayaka was going back and making sure everything was assembled correctly and everything that was supposed to be there was there.

Music was quietly playing in the kitchen from Nagito letting Hajime listen to his music.

They were of course being total dorks around each other.

It was a 2 hour flight, but it might as well have been 5 hours long. You had no one to talk to and there was, of course, the generic screaming baby that left you with a massive headache. You just took some medicine and took a nap and it was resolved soon enough thankfully.

You and Kyoko had got an Uber to get to Byakuya's house. You received a text soon enough.

byakuya- welcome back 💕💕💕

byakuya- keep kyoko with you and go ahead and come in

"Umm.. come in with me."

"You two opened the door to complete darkness, and balloons floating around.

The lights turned on in a flash and everybody yelled.

"Surprise!!!!"

Everybody sprang up from their various hiding spots of couches or tables.

You saw Byakuya and froze. Sure you had saw him at break a few months ago, but now you could permanently stay with him.

You ran over to him and immediately smothered him in a hug. You may have also felt a small tear, but no one saw it before you wiped it away.

You had collapsed into a laughing, smiling mess on the couch.

Kyoko was of course way more calm and collected and just gave Makoto a small hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you for planning all this." you told Byakuya without hesitation.

"Of course." he grabbed your hand and you two headed to the kitchen where a nice little buffet style table was laid out.

"However, lots of thanks would have to go to Nagito and Hajime for cooking."

"Thanks you two!" you yelled from around the corner.

They both gave you a half hearted thumbs up from the couch.

You prepared a plate of your favorite foods and desserts. You also grabbed a cup of the fruit punch that Chihiro made.

You all sat on the couch and ate your various foods while watching some overly faked reality TV show that was somehow hilariously bad and also hilarious.

Once everyone left, you had to help clean up.

You took some left over food to eat for lunch the next day and opened the door to leave when Byakuya grabbed your arm to stop you.

"Hey, come with me."

You followed him to the car and you two drove down the street that was so familiar.

You turned down a street that seemed oddly familiar, but you couldn't place what it was.

You parked on the side of the road and walked a little while to a small park.

The realization hit you like a truck. (haha)

This is where we had our first kiss.

Is he.... doing what I think he's going to do?

Your heart was beating in your chest 300 miles an hour.

You two sat on the same bench from a few years ago.

It didn't lean back this time.

Byakuya held your hand and reached in his pocket.

Your eyes widened and you watched as he got down on one knee.

"Ok, god I know this is weirdly sudden but I've been planning this forever. I love you, and all our stupid, idiotic moments, like tonight." he laughed gently.

"You made me realize I don't have to be so cold and hardened around people and that there are people that do care about me. I don't know about you Y/N, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you. It's stupidly corny, but.. will you marry me?"

You felt tears rising again, but happy tears. "Yes, you idiot."

He put the ring on your finger and you wrapped your arms around his neck and cried like a baby. You had been waiting for this moment basically since you had started dating.

You would have never dreamed of this moment, but it had happened.
