Sunlight hits my eyes and I groan. I stretch, yawn and sit up. Misty is still in the same position I last saw her in.
I slip out of bed, grab my clothes and head to the bathroom to get dressed.

After I get dressed I head downstairs to the kitchen. I get some plates and ingredients ready to make some macrons then I hear a groan coming from the lounge. Ash sits up and looks at me with tired eyes.
Oops! I guess I was being too loud, I forgot he was sleeping down here. I mouth the word 'Sorry' and get back to making the macrons.

Ash gets off the lounge and stands next to me. I look over at him. "Wanna help?" I ask. He shakes his head, "Not unless you need it, I like watching you."
My cheeks turn red as I try and concentrate on mixing. "Yum." Ash says. My cheeks get redder. For the next 5 minutes Ash just looks at me while I make the macrons, occasionally saying things like "That looks good Serena" and "Delicious".

Eventually I finish and the macrons are away. I turn around and face Ash, whose face is a few centimetres away from mine. Our noses just touching. I didn't know he was right behind me before I turned! We are breathing the same air, that is if I was breathing. I just stare into his eyes, my face red. Ash's face is red too. That's not like him. We stay like this for a few minutes. Then Ash moves forward and kisses me on the cheek and steps back.
I think my heart just skipped a beat.

Then I hear a gasp. Ash and I both look in the direction of the gasp, which happened to be at the bottom of the staircase. Misty stands there with her mouth wide open. Oops I think she saw Ash peck me on the cheek. Why does she care?

Misty's face is in complete shock and sadness I don't know what to do or say. She then runs out the door. Ash and I run to the door and see her run out of the village and out of sight.

"Misty!" Ash yells half running out the door. He then looks back at me for a split second before running after Misty in his PJ's. I stay where I am, seeing Ash run out of sight. Pikachu comes up from behind me. "Pi?" Pikachu squeaks. I scoop up Pikachu and hug him. "I don't know either Pikachu." I say to Pikachu, "But Ash will be back, don't worry."
