The Long Wait

2 weeks goes by so slowly. Why couldn't it go any faster? I spend the whole 2 weeks planning how I will react when I see Ash. Eventually the day has come and I ask my mom to drive me to the airport. I make sure I have the blue ribbon Ash gave me on my adventures with him.

I walk in the air conditioned air port and look at the board. Which region is Ash coming from? And what time? The professor said he was suppose to land between 1pm and 5pm. It's 12:30. Great. It says that a plane from Alola is landing in half an hour. That could be him. But a plane from Kanto is landing in half and hour too. I have no idea where to meet him...

I walk around the airport aimlessly. As 3pm slowly creeps nearer I get a call. "Hello?" I say into my new rose gold rotom phone. "Have you got him yet? I've been waiting in the car for ages!" My mom says across the phone. "No sorry! I have no idea when the plane lands, but the latest it should land is 5pm." I reply. I hear my mum sigh, "Okay then. See you in a while then." Then she hangs up.

Soon 4pm comes and I am still waiting. I really wish I had his phone number. 5pm comes and I wait around for a few more minutes until deciding to leave for my moms sake. All hope gone, I slowly make my way towards the exit. Then I hear a voice; "Serena?"
