Chase

I am standing at my front door for second or two before thinking I should run after Ash. After Ash pecked me on the cheek and Misty saw she just ran out. Does she like Ash too? Pikachu hops from side to side and looks back at me. "Piiii."
I look back into my house, "Mum I'll be right back!" I yell into the house.

I then run, Pikachu at my heels, out of Vanillite and down the plaza and into the forest. My hair flowing behind me.
"Ash!" I pant, still running.
"Misty!" I hear a faint voice yell in the distance. I speed up. Running over broken branches and the occasional wild Pokémon.
Eventually I get to the other end of the forest and see Ash running down the path in the distance.
"Ash!" I yell again. He doesn't stop. Then thoughts hits me; is Ash running after Misty because he likes her? But he kissed me! Misty seems to like him though.

My feet are starting to hurt and I realise I'm not wearing any shoes. I try and speed up my running, but it's not working very well. Misty comes into view on the horizon. I close my eyes and keep running, I muster up some energy and yell at the top of my lungs, "MISTY PLEASE STOP!"
She stops. She actually stopped!

Ash gets to her and eventually I do too.
"W-Why? Why did?" Ash pants.
"My question is..." Misty says catching her breath, "What was that?" Misty says pointing at me and Ash.
Ash looks at me and then Misty. "What?" he asks. "You kissed her." Misty says. "On the cheek!" I say. She glares at me.

"Ash I thought you liked me." Misty says sadly to Ash half blushing, "I know that abounds kid-like but I really thought it. On our adventure together we really grew as friends. When we met again in the Alola region you really seemed like you... liked me. And I've always liked you. So when you kissed her just now... I guess I was..."

So she does like Ash.

"Misty you are amazing! And I like you, and Serena too!" Ash says. Misty turns away. "I'll just go back to my hotel then." She says. "Wait!" Ash says as Misty takes a step away, "How about we all hang out for a while? Get to know each other and stuff?" Ash says looking at me. I stare at him. Does that mean...?
"Can Misty and I stay at your place Serena?" Ash asks.
I knew it... "Sure." I reply.

We all walk back to the house in silence, all in a straight line.
