Fight

"Serena, I choose you." Ash says softly. The tears stop and I turn around, blushing. "But Ash!" Misty says, grabbing his shoulder and pulling his backwards. "Ash we were leaving!" Misty exclaims.

"But- but- Serena!" Ash says looking and me. I reach for us now outstretched hand, as Misty pulls him further and further away from me. "Ash! We are LEAVING!" Misty yells and yanks him away. I jump off my bed and grab his hand. "Ash please STAT!" I yell back.

Misty and I both pull on Ash, like a tug of war. Pikachu cheering us on, I don't know who specifically he is cheering on though.

"STOP!" Ash exclaims pulling his arms away from the both of us.
"Look you two are both amazing! And I get it, you both like me! But you don't have to fight over me! If you're looking for a partner then choose with your heart and not because someone else wants them." Ash says, looking from Misty to myself.

"I have chosen with my heart, I want you Ash." Misty says immediately.
"Ash you said you chose me!" I say rushed.

Ash looks at both of us back and forth. For about a minute, he has a focused face, choosing his next words carefully.

"Misty, I'm sorry but Serena is the kindest person I've ever met. She helped me clear some gyms and get back on my feet again after I've fallen," Ash looks and me, our eyes fixed on each other, "And with that, I choose you Serena."

My cheeks turn bright red and my upper lip trembles with joy. Misty looks as equally red as me, but in pure anger.

"FINE! I'm sorry I ever yelled at you in the past and didn't 'care' for you as much as that brat did!" Misty yells, tears filling her eyes. "Bye Ash!" Misty runs out the door.

Ash goes to follow her, but I grab his shoulder. "Ash, please don't." I say. He can't run after her again, she'll be 10 times angrier than ever.
Ash thinks for a second then rushes to my window, opens it and yells, "I'm sorry Misty! We can still be friends! Just plain friends!"
I see Misty run into the distance.

Ash turns to face me. "Did you really mean what you said then?" I ask. He walks up to me, I step back into a wall. He leans close, incredibly close, and whispers in my ear, "I meant every word I said." Ash says, he then gives me the biggest kiss I've ever had.
