Chapter Twelve

A/N My brother drew something similar to the photo above, only the iris was green. Anyway, sorry for not uploading in a while but I've been in Aberdeen for a week to visit my cousin and haven't had the chance to upload, so here you go!

*Flashback 02.07.10 - In Christina's (A.K.A Chris, the scene girl) room*

Aria's/Lily's P.O.V

Chris and I were both in her room, just sketching random things that we thought of in our heads. At that moment I was drawing an enlarged version of an eye with someone trying to climb out of it and Chris was drawing a damask'd rose (she loved Shakespeare).

We were quietly concentrating on our work when there was a knock on the door. Thinking that it was just someone to check up on us, I opened the door.

But it wasn't.

It was my parents.

We didn't know what to do when she had escaped. Search for her and then bring her back? Just let her go?

Eventually we came to a decision. I thought of her, what she was most likely to do, or go.
I hadn't thought of anything for a while, but then, it came to me. "Rob!" I called. "I thought of something!"

He came downstairs to the dining room and said, "You did? What is it?"

"Well, we should go after her. She most likely went to some place where everyone can live; to blend in with the crowd."

"Well what is the nearest one to here? She couldn't have travelled far."

"It is Clement Garden Community Home, about 45 minutes from here. She's probably there, hiding her little ass."

"Then let's go and bring the bitch back here so she can get what she deserves." Rob said with a smirk.

*Time skip to when they arrive at the home*

Once we were inside, a surly-looking woman stared at us in annoyance and asked, "Who are you and why are you here."

With an equally annoyed tone, I answered, "Our names are Vanessa and Robert Renee, we are married, and we came to see a girl who checked in recently. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Remember her?"

The woman looked unamused as she said, "Yes, a girl like that checked in a few weeks ago. Her room is 382, though she'll probably be in room 381 with Chris. Bye now."

At her harsh dismissal, I turned on my heel, walked up the stairs to the 3rd floor and knocked on the door of room 381. Soon enough the door opened, revealing our 14-year-old daughter with a mortified, shocked and terrified look on her face.

Aria's/Lily's P.O.V

How the hell did they find me?! Nobody knew about my escape, or even where I went!

In the corner of my eye I saw Chris looking at me in sympathy and apprehension. I told her everything a few days ago, and I mean everything. From the day that this all started to that present day.

"H-hello? What c-can I do for you?" I stuttered nervously.

"Hello, we are looking for a girl who recently moved here, has brown eyes and golden-brown hair. Kind of looks like you actually. Oh, and her name is Lily Renee. Have you seen her?" My dad said; venom injected into every word.

"N-no, sorry. The only person that has moved here recently would either be me or James across the hall. Oh, and by the way my name is Aria Green."

"Ok then, if you do see Lily could you tell her to go home? We need to... speak to her about something." My mom said with a smirk in her tone.

"I'll l-look out for her. Goodbye."

As I was closing the door, my dad grabbed my shirt by the collar, almost choking me, and hissed, "You will never escape us, bitch. We are coming for you." After that he released me and slammed the door behind him.

I just sunk down onto the floor, barely processing what had just happened, or the worried calls of Chris next to me.

Only one thing was in my mind.

I had to leave.
