*Flashback 19.06.10 - In the shack - Around 10:00am*

Once I had woken up on the next day, I had forgotten where I was, or what I was doing in a shack in the middle of the woods. Then suddenly, it all came back to me. I didn't know whether my parents were close or not, if they even bothered to look for me that is. But them I remembered what my parents were capable of if they wanted to. I was up on my feet immediately and running in the direction that I hoped would lead me to the city.

Eventually, after hours of trekking through the woods I reached a road that seemed extremely busy, filled with yellow taxis, normal cars and very, very angry pedestrians. I hailed for a cab and got in, reciting where I wanted to go to the surprisingly happy cab driver. As I was running to a road I made up a game plan:

1. Find a community home
2. Find a job
3. Move away as soon as possible
4. Cover up all tracks of myself
5. Change my identity

At that moment I was at the 1/2 stage. To be allowed access at the home I had to be at least 18 years old.

I was 14.

One good thing in my favour was that back when I had friends, I was always told by them that I looked way older than I actually was, so lying now shouldn't be too hard.

Once I had left and paid the cab driver, I nervously walked up to the surprisingly clean community home, where I hopefully would be living until I could move to a different state. As I walked inside I saw a woman behind a glass desk, looking extremely annoyed and bored. She looked up and noticed me standing in front of her, and she said, "Hello, what's your age, name and reason for coming." in a surly tone. It was quite hard for me to not get angry when people disrespect me, but I managed to not punch her in the face and say with gritted teeth, "I am 18 years old, I would like to live here and my name is..." I hesitated on that last bit. What if my parents were searching for me and they came here? I had to make up a fake name, and fast before the woman got suspicious.

"Aria Rose Green." I said nervously.

"Ok Aria," She scanned my face and features over, as if checking that I at least looked 18, "Sign this form and head up to the room 382 on the 3rd floor. There will be a map of this place in your room. Bye now hun." She said it all in a way that made me think that she was literally pure venom, and I didn't even know why.

Once I had signed the form, I headed up to my room and glossed over the map before laying down on a very cheap bed. Well then, I thought. Looks like they only bother to look good on the outside; this place doesn't look too nice. Probably so they won't fail inspections and get shut down.

A little while later, after exploring the whole compound, I started drawing in my art notebook, the most important thing that I owned. Then suddenly, I heard a loud noise, kind of like the drums, playing in the room next to me. Now I like music and all but I hate it when people play it obnoxiously loud just to annoy everyone so I knocked on their door loudly so that they heard me.

"What do you want, newbie." The person, who I identified as a scene girl (A/N the girl in the photo above/on the side) said annoyed. "Could you keep it down? I'm kinda trying to concentrate on some art work here." I said to her, equally annoyed.

"Wait you like art?" She said, suddenly intrigued.

"Yeah..." I said kinda freaked out at her mood change.

"Finally someone in this place who likes drawing! Can I see your work?"

"Sure?" I said cautiously. I don't know why I even tried to stay away from her at first, I needed a friend as soon as possible after all those years of being alone.

We both walked into my room and she immediately ran over to where my sketch pad was lying. She was gawking as she flipped through pages upon pages of anime, some YouTube characters that I faintly remembered, abstract, surrealism, you name it, I drew it during my slivers of free time.

"These are amazing!" She gasped. "You have got to teach me how you draw like that right now!" She was literally yanking my arm out of its socket as I was being dragged into her room, but I didn't care. I had finally found someone who liked my hobbies, who seemed awed at what I could do.

I had finally found a friend.

At least this chapter ended on a good note this time! Anyway, the scene girl needs a name and I can't think one! Please help me by commenting on a name for her and I'll give you a shoutout too! Oh and by the way guys, we are nearly at 100 reads!

Nearly. 100. Freaking. Reads.

My god, when I looked at the view count a few hours ago I nearly threw my phone across the room in happiness! Thank you so much guys, you don't know how much this means to me! Anyway, bye for now and keep looking for when I post the next chapter!

See you soon!
