"izzie! wake up." she heard her dad yell from outside her door. she frowned, why did she have to wake up at 8am on a saturday? she just groaned, laying in bed for a few minute before getting up and starting her day.

she brushed the knots out of her hair and put on a plain outfit. who was she trying to impress today? she shrugged.

she glanced at the second place medal that hung on her dresser knob, grimacing at it before finally headed downstairs.

"where's mom?" izzie asked, glancing around.

"don't know. she'll be back." her dad shrugged. izzie just nodded, looking at the one waffle that was left for her.

"why did everyone get omelettes and i didnt?" izzie asked, quite annoyed at the fact she got one toaster waffle.

"thought you didn't like omelettes."

"you know i love omelettes. you used to make them for me all the time. and we would eat together. just us." izzie felt her heart wrench,

"sorry, hun. tomorrow i promise." her dad just said. she just nodded and walked away, slipping her shoes on. she left the waffle for someone else, maybe she'd stop by a café and spend her last 5 dollars on a coffee and croissant. better than a toaster waffle.

she hopped on her bike, pedaling to the nearest café and parking it in the small bike rack where one other bike was parked.

there was only 3 people sitting at each table in the small café. izzie smiles as she walked up to the cashier.

"the usual, izzie?" izzies boyfriend, nick asked with a smirk. izzie just nodded with a cheeky smile, and nick pulled a sneak move and dragged her to the back.

izzie giggles as she felt nicks hands go up her back,

"i missed you babygirl." nick said, kissing down her neck. she couldn't get any words out as waves of pleasure went throughout her body.

she felt his hands go up to her bra strap, unhooking it and removing it.

"no, no nick stop." izzie panicked.

he ignored her, slowly starting to remove her shirt. she tried pushing him away, but he just pushed himself onto her.

"baby i need this right now." nick said, angrily.

"i can't nick. get off of me!"

"get off of her, asshole." a familiar voice yelled, as izzie felt nick stumble off of her.

"you can't be back here. get out." nick spat.

"you get out you prick. don't prey on some innocent girl."

"that's my girlfriend! she wanted it."

"clearly she didn't if she was yelling at you to get off."

"whatever man." nick just walked out back to the register.

     "you o-woah." she said,

"izzie!" the girl said. izzie wondered how she knew her name.

"girl that distracted me and made me lose." izzie grunted.

"yeah. so sorry about that by the way. i'm casey." casey said with a nervous smile.

"izzie..as you already knew."

"you should totally break up with that douchebag."

"i try but.. it's hard, ya know?"

"you just gotta do it and once it's over you'll feel free, dude."

as casey talked to izzie, izzies mind drifted off. she wondered how things were for her. how she ended up the way she was. for casey, not herself. and that's what confused her the most, wondering about casey when she only just met this girl.

"hello? did you even pay attention to a thing i said?" izzie heard casey, she snapped out of it,

"i uhm-i have to go. bye." izzie said in a rushed tone,

"wait! can i buy something for you? i wanna chat with you." casey said, a hand placed on izzies shoulder to prevent her from leaving.

"what? i uhm..you don't have to." izzie said, flattered.

     "i want to."

"i..i can pay for myself but..i'll talk to you."

"okay. come sit." casey grabbed her hand, leading her to the back table she was sitting at. there was a computer and books scattered on the table, but casey pushed all of it off to the side.

"hello ladies. what can i get for you today?" the café waitress said with a smile.

"i uhh..will have a croissant with jelly. and a latté." izzie said.

"just a latté. checks on me." casey passed some cash over before izzie could interrupt, she saw a sly smirk on casey's face.

"i told you i could pay for my own." izzie pouted,

"too late! just trying to make things up for you."

izzie grinned, letting out an airy chuckle.

and maybe this is the start of something good for once izzie thought to herself.
