The girls eventually managed to find something to do to kill the rest of the day before resting up in the dorms for the night. The next morning though Enterprise jolts awake, her upper body practically rocketing up and her eyes wide open.

"Oh god!" Enterprise says, rousing her sister and the other carriers.

"Mmm... Keep it down will you...?" Zuikaku mumbles. "Eh?"

"What's wrong Enterprise?" Yorktown asks.

"I just had a bad dream." Enterprise replies.

"What happened?" Yorktown asks.

"I saw this version of myself... But I looked absolutely deranged... My hair was all a mess, my eyes were a totally different color, even my clothes looked all torn up and everything... I..." Enterprise trails off.

"You don't have to say any more. It was only a dream after all." Yorktown says. "But you did manage to rouse the other carriers."

"My bad." Enterprise says.

"Ah don't worry about it." Zuikaku says, "It's morning anyway, we all should be getting up soon." And with that the carriers are the first to get up and get ready for the day. Meanwhile with the battleships...

"Mmm... OOF!" Hood suddenly shouts as she accidentally rolls off her bed and hits the ground with a loud thud, startling all of the other battleships awake.

"What in the world?! Hood?!" Wales asks.

"Sister why are you on the floor?" Georgie asks.

"I... I have no idea." Hood replies.

"Well you startled all of us awake." Bismarck and Tirpitz say.

"My dearest apologies." Hood replies.

"I heard a crashing noise. Is everything alright?" Zed and Eugen ask as they peek into the room.

"Everything's alright, Hood kinda fell off of her bed." Bismarck replies. "Well I guess since we're all awake, might as well get ready for the day." And with that everyone heads to the tavern where breakfast items galore are being served.

"Man I forget how good this stuff is." Zed chuckles as she munches on some scrambled eggs, oil drizzled on the top.

"I honestly didn't think that the cooks could make pancakes like this, but they really have done it." Eugen chuckles as she looks at her pancakes, topped with black oil in place of maple syrup. Unfortunately the girls are cut short as they hear a low buzzing noise and Zed is the first to rush out to see a V-1 flying towards the base!

"Not this again!" Zed shouts as she brings out her AA guns and destroys the bomb before it can hit the ground. "I think those Sirens want to play again!"

"Again? Seriously?" Wales asks. "Well, I'm going to go check up on Jack and see if he's alright. I'll have to miss out."

"Well, at least you'll be able to intercept any doodlebugs that we might miss." Bismarck says as Wales goes to check up on Jack and the others rush out into the water to engage the Siren fleet. This one is somewhat smaller than the others but the carrier that launched the buzz bomb has not retreated, and the other ships quickly open fire on the shipgirls.

"They really thought they could get away with sending one of those things at us again?" Eugen chuckles as she and the other shipgirls tear into the fleet without mercy. Eventually only the carrier remains and the battleships fire a giant salvo to dispatch of it, but before the girls can even think of returning to the docks, Georgie gets a distress call from her sister.

"What happened?!" Georgie asks.

"It's horrible! Something happened to Jack! He's-" The call abruptly cuts off, and all of the shipgirls look at each other.

"That didn't sound good." Hood says. "We have to head back as quickly as we can." And her worries are confirmed as the girls see explosions coming from the base.
